Adrien Brody and Georgina Chapman are celebrating success!
On Sunday, Jan. 5, the couple had a glam red carpet moment at the 2025 Golden Globes, where Brody, 51, is won for best performance by a male actor in a motion picture – drama for his role in The Brutalist, playing Hungarian architect László Toth in the years after World War II.
The film also took home the award for best motion picture – drama.
For their black tie date night, Brody wore a black made-to-measure Thom Browne suit with braided trim along the lapels and an abstract boutonniere by Elsa Jin. Chapman opted for a sheer dress with black floral details and a dramatic train.
Brody told Variety on the red carpet that Chapman, a top industry designer, will “definitely give me her opinion” on his red carpet looks.
“She has lovely taste,” he said, adding, “She definitely is an ally.”
Brody and Chapman, who made their red carpet debut at the Tribeca Film Festival in June 2021, recently stepped out together at the 2024 Gotham Independent Film Awards at Cipriani Wall Street in New York.
Posing on the red carpet, the King Kong actor and the English fashion designer and co-founder of Marchesa coordinated in chic black looks.
Chapman wore a strapless gown with a contrasting corset lined with intricate beading at the top. The floor-length dress featured a bold, high split secured by a black lace underlay.
Brody stood by her side in a black suit featuring a patterned lapel.
After the red carpet, the pair attended an afterparty held at nearby hotel Nine Orchard in Lower Manhattan.
That same week, PEOPLE caught up with Brody at the Los Angeles premiere of The Brutalist, where he reflected on the “parallels” between the movie and his own family.
“I’m very familiar with the immigrant struggles and how the loss and experiences of the past have affected my mother and her work as an artist,” the Oscar winner told PEOPLE. “I feel there are many parallels related to László that I can relate to personally.”
He added that his favorite part of the film was sharing it with his parents.
“My mom will say, ‘Your dad found another one.’ And it’d be a level of not just praise for my work, but a level of respect for the work, my work included. And an understanding and analysis of the work and the film that is quite astute and eloquent and thoughtful without any other references or baggage in the mix,” Brody said.
The Pianist star and Chapman have been making their red carpet rounds as of late — also appearing side by side at the premiere of The Brutalist at the Venice Film Festival in September.
For the occasion, Brody again looked classic in all black, wearing a suit and bowtie for the prestigious event. He added a bedazzled flower pin on his jacket collar.
As for his date, the Project Runway All Stars alum brought old school Hollywood vibes to Venice in a light blue, tailored bejeweled gown with a mesh train. Her look also included a plunging neckline and silver embellishments to break up the blue pattern.
Though the gown itself was sleeveless, a mesh overlay draped delicately over her arms with added jewels.
At the 2024 2024 Met Gala, Brody and Chapman matched again but in a surprising way when the Academy Award winner went blonde for the occasion.

While they both donned shades of black and white for the “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion” theme, the actor ditched his darker hued hair for a lighter shade that complemented Chapman’s own hair hue.
