Former adult film actor Austin Wolf was sentenced on two counts related to child sexual exploitation, federal prosecutors announced on Monday, Sept. 29.

“Justin Heath Smith’s crimes against children are horrible,” U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York Jay Clayton said in a statement. “He targeted kids as young as seven, and every New Yorker wants him and those like him off our streets for as long as possible and never again near our children.

“The women and men of our Office, and our law enforcement partners, are laser focused on ridding our streets of those who sexually exploit our children.” Clayton continued. “The message to predators from our Office is clear: there is no place for you in New York other than prison.”

The 44-year-old adult star, whose real name is Justin Heath Smith, was initially charged with receipt and distribution of child pornography and possession of child pornography. In June 2025 he pleaded guilty to enticing a minor to engage in sexual activity in a Manhattan federal court hearing.

On Friday, Sept. 26, Smith was sentenced to 19 years in prison for enticing a minor to engage in illegal sexual activity and for engaging in a pattern of activity involving prohibited sexual conduct. He was also sentenced to 10 years of supervised release and a $40,000 fine.

Smith was first arrested in April 2024, after federal authorities raided his Manhattan apartment. During the raid, authorities uncovered approximately 200 videos containing child porn on an SD card, according to the criminal complaint obtained by PEOPLE.

Smith repeatedly preyed on and tried to sexually exploit minor victims since 2023, prosecutors said. In late 2023 or early 2024, Smith and another adult male (referred to as “Male-1”) met with a 15-year-old minor. “During which Male-1 performed oral sex on the minor while Smith masturbated,” prosecutors said in a statement.

“Smith also had sex at least three times with an individual whom Smith believed was 15 years old, but who was in fact an adult,” the statement read. “Smith recorded one such encounter, a threesome with Male-1.”

Smith attempted “to meet with other minors to engage in sexual activity,” per the statement. Per court transcripts, the minors were 12 and 14 years old.

By January 2024, Smith and another male (referred to as “Male-2”) met “to sexually abuse a purported nine-year-old child that Male-2 claimed to be babysitting.” However, after Smith arrived at Male-2’s building, the latter called it off while Smith was downstairs waiting.

The next month, Smith “made plans to meet a purported 14-year-old for sex, including discussing the specific sex act that the purported minor would perform on Smith.” He gave the minor his apartment building’s cross streets, but “the planned encounter did not ultimately occur,” prosecutors said.

He “solicited child sexual abuse material from at least one minor and multiple individuals who purported to be minors,” prosecutors said. They allege that he communicated inappropriately and exchanged sexually explicit images with a 15-year-old boy and a 12-year-old boy.

Smith also planned to meet with a man who had a 7-year-old child, “who offered to make the child available to Smith for sexual abuse.” Federal authorities raided and arrested Smith before that encounter happened.

During that search, authorities found “approximately 1,291 files containing child pornography, including around 75 files showing infants or toddlers and some videos depicting the violent rape of young children.” He also distributed the child pornography to at least 15 other individuals.
