“There were no injuries reported or summons issued and the contributing factors to the accident were found to be a reaction to an uninvolved vehicle and the slippery and wet roadway conditions.”

In Alec’s video, the actor thanked the East Hampton police officers who responded to the scene of his accident.

“My wife’s car is pretty smashed up. Big tree, big, fat tree. And I’m going to L.A. to see my family. Can’t wait,” he said. “Going out to California to gather my family together, going to spend a few days out there and then come home. But I’m still so proud of my wife. Hilaria, I love you more than anything, and I’m very proud of you.”

“I’m fine. I’m fine. Other than…,” he added, gesturing to a scrape on his face.
