The wait is over!

Alix Earle introduced the new and improved version of her Hot Mess podcast on Wednesday, June 25, several months after parting ways with Alex Cooper’s media company, Unwell Network.

In a trailer shared on her YouTube page, the social media star, 24, welcomed her fans back to Hot Mess, giving a “little intro” of what’s to come from her podcast.

“This is no longer going to be a traditional podcast. It’s going to be very video-forward. I keep calling it a vlogcast. I’m not even sure if that’s a thing. And then maybe it’s just like Hot Mess, the show,” she said.

The influencer explained that Hot Mess will be posted on her Alix Earle YouTube channel, as well as the Hot Mess channel on Spotify.

She said that putting a pause on the podcast “was not an easy thing,” but “everything does happen for a reason,” noting that it is why she started vlogging on YouTube.

The TikTok star said she wanted to give her fans a “behind the scenes” look at her life by implementing videos into her podcast and has been “having a lot of fun.”

“It feels so positive in my vibe and just chaotic and a mess,” she said, noting that she felt like she was in a “toxic kind of mental cycle with the podcast.”

“I have so much to tell you guys because I have not been blabbing to you for an hour a week for the past however many months,” said Earle. “I feel like I’ve just been taking the time to listen to what you just are saying.”

Earle teased the return of Hot Mess earlier this week with a cryptic, three-part Instagram post on the podcast’s official page on Monday, June 23. While few details were shared at the time, there were hints that the podcast would soon be relaunching.

The first image was an aerial shot of a desk, featuring text that reads “Coming Soon…” along with a “Hot Mess Receipt,” which listed “vlogcast,” “btbp” and “hot mess summer pending” on it.

In another image, a notebook was featured with a doodled arrow pointing to the number “25,” implying a big announcement on June 25.

The relaunch of Hot Mess comes three months after Earle announced an “indefinite” pause of her podcast on March 26, and four months after her reported parting of ways from Cooper’s Unwell Network, per Variety.

At the time, fans speculated a potential fallout between her and Cooper, to which the latter put rumors to rest immediately.

“Alix not being able to podcast has nothing to do Unwell,” the Call Her Daddy host wrote in a post on her Instagram Stories and TikTok that same day Earle announced the show’s break. “[I don’t know] why she can’t/what’s going on.”

Cooper also clarified that “Unwell gave [Alix] back everything” and that Earle “owns her IP,” noting she “learned from the best” and tagged Barstool Sports founder and CEO Dave Portnoy.

The return of Earle’s Hot Mess is just another venture she’s adding to her lengthy list of recent accomplishments.

On May 15, Earle celebrated the launch of the 2025 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue and spoke with PEOPLE exclusively at the party in New York City.
