‘And Just Like That’ Star Claims He Smoked Joint With Sisters Jenna Bush Hager and Barbara Bush

And Just Like That actor Armin Amiri claims that he smoked a joint with sisters Jenna Bush Hager and Barbara Bush

On the Wednesday, May 21 edition of “Page Six Radio,” Amiri described meeting former President George W. Bush’s daughters while he was a doorman at the once-popular New York City nightclub Bungalow 8, which opened in 2001 and closed eight years later.

“So we had 280 reservations for the restaurant,” Amiri, who plays Ravi Gordi on HBO Max’s And Just Like That, told the outlet, recalling the night he met the twins, who are now 43. At first, “I didn’t let ’em in and I didn’t know who they were,” Amiri said, recalling that a Secret Service agent intervened on their behalf.

“I got a tap on my shoulder, and it was the Secret Service,” he said. “And he goes, ‘Hey man.’ I said, ‘Hey.’ And he goes, ‘These are the First Daughters.’ I said, ‘First Daughters of whom?’”

Jenna Bush Hager and Barbara Bush’s parenting styles have been heavily influenced by their own parents, George W. Bush and Laura Bush. “I would say it was sort of, like, the laissez-faire parenting of the ‘80s and ‘90s,” Barbara, 43, exclusively told Us Weekly of her and Jenna’s childhood with the former President and First […]

Amiri then “took care of it right away” and the sisters scored a table.

“I remember I needed my green card,” he recalled, claiming, “So, we smoked a joint together and I was just like, ‘Listen, I’m having a green card problem.’”

He claimed that one of the sisters told him that they would “speak to someone” about the issue. However, Amiri jokingly noted that “nothing ever happened.”

After completing his shift that night, he said that he approached Jenna and Barbara and offered to comp their meal.

“Honey, don’t even worry about it. We’re used to these kind of things,” one sister allegedly said in response.

Us Weekly has reached out to Jenna’s Today show rep for comment.

Amiri told “Page Six Radio” that he also reached out to former President Bill Clinton for help establishing permanent residence in the U.S.

“I walked up to Bill Clinton and I said, ‘Bill, I need my green card,’” he said. “And he says, ‘Talk to my wife.’ So, I talked to Hillary [Clinton] and Hillary says, ‘Talk to my right hand assistant Huma Abedin.’”
