Andrea Bocelli is celebrating his breakthrough album with a new tour.

On Monday, Oct. 13, the Italian tenor announced that he will be touring in 2026 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of his 1997 album Romanza. Fans can expect to hear many of the songs from the album live, including classics like “Con te partirò.”

The tour, taking place in North America, will make several stops through February, kicking off in Columbus, Ohio and wrapping up in Chicago.

Romanza has sold over 20 million copies worldwide. Per a press release, the 1997 album is the “best-selling Italian-language album,” along with the “best-selling predominantly non-English language album of all time.”

The American Express presale for the Romanza 30th anniversary tour tickets begins on Monday, Oct. 13 at 10 a.m. The Andrea Bocelli social fan presale kicks off on Wednesday, Oct. 15 at 10 a.m. local time. General ticket sale begins on Friday, Oct. 17 at 10 a.m. local time.

Tickets for the Grammy-nominated artist’s winter tour are currently on sale. Bocelli will perform in Dallas, Lexington, Hamilton, Boston, Detroit, Hartford, Miami and Washington, D.C. He will also return to Madison Square Garden in New York City for two shows.

Speaking with PEOPLE in December 2024, the 67-year-old singer shared why he doesn’t want to retire. “When I think about retired people, I always think about old men in their sleepers who are sitting on the bench and feeding the pigeons,” he said.

Bocelli believes one “can still feed the pigeons while you are working” and wants to keep performing for as long as his voice allows him.

“What is for sure, [there] may come a day that my voice will not be the same one, and it wouldn’t be suitable anymore to offer the performance that my audience would expect from me,” he added at the time.

As for striving for anything more at that point in his career, Bocelli credited “the good Lord” for determining what’s next. “The good Lord may keep surprising me, and I will welcome everything,” he said at the time.

“Reality has by far exceeded expectations. I’m already very happy and pleased about what I have accomplished, and I will try to give my best until the very last performance that I shall do,” said Bocelli.
