Andy Cohen’s ‘Dream’ Apartment Sold By Ryan Serhant After $2 Million Price Cut: See Photos of NYC Home

Andy Cohen’s 3,500-square-foot New York City apartment has been sold after a $2 million price cut.

Realtor reports that the property is now under contract eight months after it originally hit the market at $14 million — it has now sold for $12 million. Cohen’s friend and Bravo cohort, Million Dollar Listing New York and Owning Manhattan real estate agent Ryan Serhant, shared via Instagram on Monday, May 21, that he had inked a deal for the apartment.

“Congrats @bravoandy. Thanks for trusting me and [his company] @serhant with your home,” Serhant, 40, wrote via Instagram.

Cohen, 56, worked with famed architect Gordon Kahn to combine four units into his dream apartment in the West Village, complete with four bedrooms, four-and-a-half bathrooms, wood-burning fireplaces and a steam room. The property also boasts a bright red powder room entry space as well as cobalt bespoke cabinets in its spacious kitchen.

At the risk of sounding like a Real Housewives tagline, when Andy Cohen talks, people listen. That’s true when he hosts Watch What Happens Live and the Bravo reunions, and it’s especially true for his SiriusXM show, where he has time to dig into everything from Wicked to Bravolebrity brouhahas. “There are things I say […]

The lucky buyer will have incredible views of New York City landmarks such as the Chrysler Building and the Empire State Building. The dwelling additionally features a full wet bar that wouldn’t look out of place on the set of Cohen’s Bravo talk show Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen.

Cohen recently purchased a nearby 3,000-square-foot apartment in the West Village for $18 million, which features a 2,000-square-foot terrace. Speaking to People in November 2024, Cohen said the need for more outdoor space for his two children — son Benjamin, born 2019, and daughter Lucy, born 2022 — motivated him to put his home up for sale after 21 years.

“Outdoor space was the decision! I always have coveted outdoor space,” he said. “There is a dearth of inventory in the West Village with outdoor space. So when I found something that was meaningful enough for me to leave my dream apartment, which is where I’m living now — my apartment that I built and spent so many years building — that’s what it took.”

Serhant revealed Cohen had given him the listing on his apartment in September 2024. The Million Dollar Listing New York star wrote via Instagram at the time that his “jaw dropped” the first time he stepped into the home.

“I saw 25 windows with unobstructed views. I saw wood burning fireplaces. I saw an immaculate renovation and gorgeous finishes, a super fun design and an incredible floorplan for four bedrooms over 3,500 SF,” he wrote. “And then Andy said, ‘Hey! Stop looking at my home like a broker. You’re here for a play date with our kids. I’m never selling!’ Well. Never is now.”

As for his new West Village apartment, Cohen told Bravo’s The Daily Dish in January that he was drawn to the $18 million property because it was “a little more sophisticated” than his prior home. This time around, Cohen has two full floors and a large outdoor terrace to keep his two young kids busy.

“The outdoor space was really huge,” he confirmed. “I mean, the outdoor space was the tipping point cause I’m living in my dream apartment.”

Cohen confirmed that he was “gutting” his new home as part of a year-and-a-half long construction process so it fits his family’s needs.

The sale of Cohen’s “dream” apartment comes during a busy time for the Bravo executive. He recently announced that the network is working on a new Real Housewives franchise set in Rhode Island, while also denying that the network was putting The Real Housewives of New York City on pause. (A Bravo spokesperson also told Us Weekly: “Nothing is official. [RHONY] hasn’t been canceled.”)

Cohen and longtime pal Anderson Cooper recently went on a spring break trip with their families to Florida, where his daughter Lucy hilariously made up with Disney character Daisy Duck. Cohen shared a video of Lucy calling Daisy Duck “mean” prior to their trip, but his daughter hugged it out with Daisy when they finally met at Disney World.

Watch What Happens airs Sundays through Thursdays on Bravo.
