Anne Burrell dined with a fellow Food Network chef in New York City, just six days before her death at the age of 55.

Burrell died on June 17 at the age of 55 after being found “unconscious and unresponsive” in her Brooklyn apartment. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

However, six days prior, Burrell was visiting with a fellow Food Network star, Chef Elizabeth Falkner, at the Soho House restaurant in New York City.

“A delicious and delightful evening last night @sohohouse for @cheffalkner ‘s ‘One Night Only’ dinner,” Burrell captioned a series of photos of herself and Falkner, and the meal she prepared. “SUUUUUUPER yummy with a great group of people. Thank you Chef for the invite and deliciousness!! #theclaxtons #ilovewhatido #luckygirl.”

Notably, both chefs are rocking nearly identical blonde spiky hairstyles on their evening out.

Following the news of Burrell’s untimely death, Falkner, 59, posted about her recent reunion with the Worst Cooks in America host.

“I know we’re all in shock to hear about our friend @chefanneburrell,” Falkner captioned a photo with Burrell on June 18. “I just reconnected with Anne last week when I was in NYC and we were saying, let’s just make a point of talking more often and getting together when we can.”

Falkner added, “It was so good to see her last week and I feel blessed that she came to my dinner and she thanked me profusely for inviting her. We made a vow to be even better friends.”

Falkner shared she “always admired her and her cooking,” noting, “We hung out back in the OG days late nights in NY here and there.”

Calling Burrell a “fierce and fun culinary competitor,” Falkner recalled facing off against her on Next Iron Chef. She concluded her post, “ You will seriously be missed Chef. 💔🗡️”
