Ariana Grande pulled out an archival gown for her 2025 Oscars Nominees Dinner.
Grande, 31, stunned in a bubblegum-and-black vintage Yves Saint Laurent ensemble at the event, held at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles on Tuesday, February 25. The dress, from the brand’s 1991 haute couture collection, was once worn by Catherine Deneuve and featured a mix of multicolored pink feathers lining the bodice. The plumage cascaded into a black silhouette with a pleated skirt and a silky bow on her waist.
Styled by Mimi Cuttrell, Grande let the Glinda-approved frock speak for itself, opting for no jewelry other than dainty pearl studs.

Following the awards, Grande took to Instagram to share moments from the evening. “What a special evening to have been a part of and a gift it is to feel celebrated and welcomed as a part of this community of artists I love,” she wrote. “Thank you @theacademy @academymuseum forever, for this honor, I’m so deeply grateful.”
When Deneuve, now 81, wore the dress to the 1993 Oscars, she paired it with ruby heels, colorful drop earrings, and a bejeweled bracelet. The French movie star also wore black eyeliner and dewy foundation. Her caramel hair was parted to the side and styled in bouncy curls.
This year, Grande is nominated for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for her role as Glinda in Wicked, while her costar, Cynthia Erivo, is up for Best Actress in a Leading Role for playing Elphaba. The musical movie is also nominated for Best Production Design, Best Costume Design, Best Makeup and Hairstyling, Best Original Score, Best Film Editing, Best Sound, Best Visual Effects and Best Picture.
