Ariana Madix revealed where she currently stands with Lala Kent and Scheana Shay after their final season of Vanderpump Rules caused a lengthy falling out.
During the Sunday, May 11, episode of Watch What Happens Live, host Andy Cohen pointed out how Lala “ended things very badly” with Ariana, 39, on the Bravo show. Ariana was asked whether she has since spoken to Lala — specifically at Kristen Doute‘s baby shower last month.
“At Kristen’s baby shower? No, she wasn’t there,” Ariana noted. “No [we haven’t spoken since the reunion]. But I haven’t run into her or anything like that.”
Ariana had a different response when asked about Scheana, 40, adding, “I would say we are good. We check in on each other. She checked in on me during the [wildfires in Los Angeles] and we were chatting back and forth. It was her birthday last week and she invited me to the party but I couldn’t go because I was here.”

Although she isn’tat odds with Scheana, Ariana acknowledged that their friendship”is not where it was” before season 11 of Vanderpump Rules. She confirmed that her bond with Katie Maloney is still strong though.
Vanderpump Rules is currently going through cast changes for season 12 after multiple feuds with the former stars of the hit Bravo series. Season 11 captured the aftermath of Tom Sandoval‘s cheating scandal with Rachel “Raquel” Leviss and split from Ariana. While Lala, 34, initially sided with Ariana she slowly started to question her costar throughout the season.
“I’m going to be real about Ariana. She coasts through every single f***ing season. And we are asking you to have one conversation with Tom Sandoval — the guy you shoved down our throats for so many years,” Lala said on an episode of the Vanderpump Rules After Show in May 2024. “That guy, who you still live with. We are asking you to have one conversation and you can’t do that?”
Lala later clarified that she didn’t have any regrets about what took place on screen.
“It was hard this season. I was talking about things that we’ve all spoken about. And then when a camera comes up, everyone runs scared. I have Ariana, who I personally believe really forgot why she was catapulted into opportunity,” she claimed on a June 2024 episode of the “Two Ts in a Pod” podcast. “Again, [I’m] so happy for you, but let’s not forget where we come from. None of us have anything without Vanderpump Rules. What we built outside of it, we should be very proud of.”
While Lala isn’t on good terms with Ariana or Katie, 38, she has remained close with Scheana. The unexpected bond has also caused Scheana’s longtime friendship with Ariana to shift into them being more acquaintances than best friends.
“We talk here and there. I think no matter what, Ariana and I are always going to have such a deep love for each other,” Scheana said on a March episode of her “Scheananigans” podcast. “I hope she reads my [upcoming] book.”
Scheana noted how her memoir, My Good Side, could offer clarity, adding, “Maybe has a better understanding for some of my actions over the past couple of years and understands a little more about my mental state and what I was going through. I write about everything up until a few months ago.”
