Ashley Olsen is changing up her hair for the new season.
On Friday, Sept. 19, the actress, 39, was spotted with a new hairdo while leaving a New York Fashion Week afterparty.
The Row co-founder was photographed on the New York City streets, showing off her warm red hair. She wore a pair of The Row Ama Slides in black, wide-leg blue jeans and a black long-sleeve blouse, which she accessorized with a brown leather tote, a green and beige scarf and black wrap-around sunglasses.
Before Ashley opted for a new ‘do, her celebrity hairstylist Mark Townsend shared on the Gloss Angeles podcast how he gets Ashley and Mary-Kate’s signature wavy hairstyle.
He recalled how the 2013 Met Gala changed his approach. At the time, Ashley wanted to do the bare minimum with her hairstyle, meaning no tools or heat. Townsend’s alternative was simple, but made an impact.
“I set her hair with clips and let it air-dry and it turned out so perfect,” Townsend said in March.
“They have such different hair, I approach it completely different,” he continued. “I use product for each one. Ashley’s hair is much curlier and much darker, but Mary-Kate’s is a little bit more coarse.”
Ashley was previously seen rocking her blonde hair while attending a W Magazine and Bloomingdale’s NYFW event at Eleven Madison Park on Friday, Sept. 12.
She was accompanied by Mary-Kate, and the pair coordinated their looks with oversized scarves in different prints.
On Thursday, Sept. 4, Ashley stepped out for the Young Eisner Scholars (YES) 25th Anniversary Gala held in Los Angeles alongside her husband, Louis Eisner, and his mother, Lisa Eisner.
Ashley opted for a collared khaki shirt dress with a relaxed silhouette by her fashion label The Row. She teamed the number with black pointed-toe shoes and delicate gold earrings. Louis opted for a black suit with a striped mint-colored shirt and black polka-dot tie.

The rare recent outings come over a year and a half after the twins were spotted on a stylish sister date in February 2024 in N.Y.C. For the low-key outing, they were also joined by their younger sister, Elizabeth Olsen, 36.
