Barack Obama Shares Photo of Michelle Obama With Daughters Sasha and Malia in Mother’s Day Tribute
Barack Obama gets the vote for most adorable Mother’s Day tribute.
The former president celebrated his wife of 33 years Michelle Obama for the special holiday by sharing a rare photo of the former first lady with their daughters Malia Obama, 26, and Sasha Obama, 23.
In the black-and-white pic posted to X (formerly Twitter) on May 11, Michelle, 61, embraced Malia—who rocked long braids with two face-framing pieces—by wrapping a protective arm around her head and leaning her head towards her daughter. Meanwhile, Sasha—rocking straight hair, a tank top and a jean jacket draped off her shoulder—hugged her mom by the waist from behind.
Alongside the sweet snap, Barack wrote, “@MichelleObama, the girls and I are so lucky to have you in our lives. We love you.”
And the 63-year-old also included a heartwarming message for other matriarchs, adding, “Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing moms and mother-figures!”
