Ben Stiller and Christine Taylor were proud parents as they attended the premiere of off-Broadway play Dilaria in celebration of their daughter, Ella.
The couple walked the red carpet at New York’s DR2 Theatre on Wednesday, June 18, in support of Ella, 23, who stars in the show alongside Chiara Aurelia and Christopher Briney. Wearing all-black ensembles, Stiller, 59, and Taylor, 53, posed together before smiling next to their 19-year-old son, Quinlin, at the opening.
Ella — who looked lovely in a strapless, floral gown at the premiere — graduated from The Juilliard School in 2024 and previously appeared with Adam Sandler in the 2020 Netflix film Hubie Halloween. (She’s also set to appear in Sandler’s upcoming Happy Gilmore 2 and on the new season of And Just Like That.) She recently opened up about what her famous parents’ support means to her as she embarks on her own acting career — saying their relationship has “only deepened.”
“It’s just another thing to connect on, to be able to talk about and to relate to on a deeper level. It’s really meaningful,” she told People in an interview published on Tuesday, June 17. “My parents were at every single show I did at Juilliard. They understand how hard it is and the joy that comes with it. I just feel lucky and really grateful for their understanding and support.”

Ella plays the titular character in Julia Randall’s Dilaria, which follows a wealthy young woman who grows obsessed with the online attention her late classmate receives after her sudden death. Dilaria’s situation begins to affect her relationships with her best friend and her kind-of-boyfriend, played by Aurelia, 22, and Briney, 27, respectively.
The show has an eight-week limited run.
“I come from a family of theater people. Everyone in my family comes from the theater proudly, so they’re exactly like me,” Ella told People, noting that her dad’s “first job” was Lincoln Center’s 1986 revival of The House of Blue Leaves. “I look up to him, my mom and my grandparents a lot. Especially in a moment like this, where I’m doing the thing I love to do.”
She added, “And I feel lucky to have not only my parents’ support, but also their understanding of what it means to be doing this right now.”
