Bill Belichick and girlfriend Jordon Hudson have faced plenty of public scrutiny over their significant age-gap relationship, but they manage to keep their chins up through it all.
Hudson, about 50 years her partner’s junior, began dating Belichick in 2023 following his split from ex Linda Holliday. The couple marked the former NFL coach’s 73rd birthday in April 2025, with Hudson calling him her “twin flame” in a celebratory post shared via Instagram.
The couple have received much criticism and jabs in the media over their relationship. Earlier this year, Hudson defended her romance with the former New England Patriots coach in honor of Valentine’s Day.
“There is no objective criteria for what constitutes someone’s worthiness of love,” Hudson wrote via Instagram in February 2025. “We do not need to justify ‘why’ we love a particular person. Love does not discriminate against sex, skin color, religion, age, or ability.

April 2025
“Never been too worried about what anybody else thinks. Just try to do what I feel like is best for me and what’s right,” Belichick said during an interview with CBS Sunday Morning, which aired on April 27, when asked how he deals with the online chatter surrounding his relationship with Hudson.
When anchor Tony Dokoupil asked Belichick how he and Hudson met, the former cheerleader interjected, “Not talking about this.” In a voiceover, Dokoupil said, “It’s a topic neither one of them is comfortable commenting on.”

Hudson took on internet trolls after receiving DMs via Instagram about her relationship.
“Poke the Bear; Get the _____,” Hudson wrote via Instagram Story on March 14, alongside a mirror selfie. In a subsequent slide, she shared a screenshot of her DMs wherein a social media user asked, “But you do realize your relationship is insane right.”

February 2025
Hudson further defended their love on Valentine’s Day in a lengthy post about the meaning of “love.”
“‘What constitutes love?’ or ‘what makes someone worthy of loving?’ are questions that require a deep analysis and could possibly enable one to understand the romances that they may not understand nor relate to,” she wrote via Instagram at the time, alongside a photo of her and Belichick. “With such a limited character count, I cannot dissect nor comprehensively answer these questions, but I will exclaim a few basic concepts.”
Hudson wrote that there are “no objective criteria for what constitutes someone’s worthiness of love,” noting “the ways in which we develop our biological preferences are deeply personal in which we owe no justification nor explanation.”
She continued, “Love does not discriminate against sex, skin-color, religion, age, or ability,” adding that love “does not fluctuate along with someone’s body weight,” “does not lie within a perfect complexion,” and “is not as deep as one’s pockets.”
“Love does not look the same every time you see it,” Hudson said. “People and relationships, like everything else, are impermanent; even though love is eternal. Love is not to be judged. It is never okay to harass or abuse a person based upon who they love.”
January 2025
Hudson and Belichick celebrated the new year in January.
“Cheers to our 3rd midnight kiss,” Hudson wrote via an Instagram Story at the time. “Nothing changed for us in 2024 except for ‘public knowledge,’ yet, somehow everything has changed. 4th calendar year; Going strong. I can’t wait to take punches for you in 2025.”

Hudson and Belichick made their red carpet debut at the American Museum of Natural History’s annual gala in New York City.
