Belichick, 73, coached Brady, now 48, on the New England Patriots for 20 years before he signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in March 2020. The former quarterback was 42 years old during his final season with the Patriots.
After 23 total seasons in the NFL, Brady announced his retirement in 2023, at age 45. The star athlete famously initially stated that he was retiring the year prior, but ended up reversing the decision about two months later and playing a third and final season with the Buccaneers.
Hudson was a high school cheerleader and continued on the cheer squad at Bridgewater State University. She and her college team once nabbed a win at the 2021 NCA Collegiate Championship. Hudson joined Code Black, a competitive cheerleading team based out of Cheer Extreme Raleigh in North Carolina, at the end of 2025, after Belichick started coaching the UNC-Chapel Hill football team.
While she continued to show up in support of Belichick as he led the UNC Tar Heels, he returned the gesture by attending her cheerleading events. He even appeared at Hudson's North Carolina cheerleading debut on Nov. 15.
Prior to her return to the competition circuit, Hudson posted several references to her cheerleading background and abilities to perform impressive stunts. In April 2025, the Miss Maine USA pageant contestant shared videos of herself performing tricks at Daytona Beach Bandshell in Florida.
