Jordon Hudson’s relationship with Bill Belichick has resulted in two prominent members of the sports media universe airing their grievance with each other in public.
It all started when The Ringer founder Bill Simmons discussed former ESPN personality and “Pablo Torre Finds Out” podcast host Pablo Torre’s recent deep dives into the romance of Hudson, 23, and Belichick, 73.
“I’ve never seen anybody dine on a stupider story for a week and a half while pretending you’re a journalist,” Simmons, 55, said on May 27 on his podcast, “The Rewatchables.” “What the f*** was that? Seriously.”
Simmons continued, “Belichick’s dating a girl. ‘Oh, let me do nine shows about it.’ Settle the f*** down.”

As interest and conversation surrounding Bill Belichick’s relationship with his girlfriend Jordon Hudson continues to grow, a podcast about the couple’s history made some wild — and often shocking — allegations. On the Friday, May 9, episode of the Peabody Award-nominated podcast “Pablo Torre Finds Out,” Torre spoke to 11 sources to get a better […]
Torre, 39, released his first investigative podcast about Hudson and Belichick on May 9, which examined the origins of the couple’s relationship, raised questions about Hudson’s real age and ultimately reported that Hudson had been banned from the athletic facilities at the University of North Carolina, where Belichick is the head football coach. (Carolina Athletics denied Hudson had been banned in a statement to Us Weekly shortly after the release of the podcast.)
In a follow-up podcast on May 23, Torre zeroed in on the infamous shirtless Ring camera footage of Belichick from 2023. Torre revealed the footage was taken at a Massachusetts Airbnb being used by Belichick and Hudson, though the identity of the individual who released the footage to the media is still unknown.
Simmons’ criticism mostly seemed to center on Torre’s appearances on programs like The Dan Patrick Show and podcasts like “Pardon My Take,” where the journalist discussed his reporting on Hudson and Belichick.
“You don’t need to do a media tour about a f***ing podcast,” Simmons said.
Torre eventually caught wind of Simmons’ comments, and offered his rebuttal on Monday, June 2.
“Dear @BillSimmons: Since you have such a strong public opinion about my work… I happen to have a few questions for you, specifically,” Torre posted via X. “Unless you’re afraid of @pablofindsout and someone just ‘pretending to be a journalist,’ of course. Thanks, Pablo.”
The saga took another twist on Tuesday, June 3, according to former ESPN host Dan Le Batard.

“Pablo Torre will be appearing on Bill Simmons’ podcast,” Le Batard, 56, said Tuesday on his podcast, “The Dan Le Batard Show.”
Neither Simmons or Torre have publicly confirmed the podcast appearance.
After the release of his first podcast about Hudson and Belichick, Torre received some feedback from Hudson herself.
The beauty queen went on a reposting spree via X, sharing messages like “Good lord Pablo needs a hobby” and “Baseless speculation should be taken with a heavy grain of salt so I feel weird throwing it around but this feels like Belichick’s enemies finding a convenient boogeyman (or woman in this case) to make whatever case they want to make against him.”
