Happy birthday, Austen Rydell!
Billie Lourd penned a sweet message to her husband Rydell for his 33rd birthday. In a post on Instagram, the actress shared a slew of photos of the pair together through the years, from photo booth snaps to blurry candids to glimpses of family bonding moments.
“đ¨đđ¨Alert alert itâs my favorite holiday of the year my #bbdaddisbdaybb !!! no need for no Harry Potter wands in my life cause he makes â¨EvErYdAy MaGiCaLâ¨,” Lourd, 32, gushed in the caption.
She went on, “HAPPY BIRTHDAY KING!!! this odd af amalgamation of photos is proof we have been together 4 a hottttt sec emphasis on the hot cause ur hot thanks for coming to my ted talk.”
Her post included a video of Rydell standing in a metamorphosis–esque roach, a snap of them sharing cold drinks on a swing set, a photo in front of Universal Studios’ Hogwarts castle and a shot of Rydell tossing their child in the air.
Lourd and Rydell had been longtime friends when they went on their first date in 2016, and after Lourd briefly dated Taylor Lautner later that year, she and Rydell rekindled their romance in 2017. Their relationship saw exciting trips to Norway and Japan, and after making a red carpet debut at the LACMA Art + Film Gala in 2018 and moving into a mansion off Melrose Blvd. in Los Angeles, they got engaged two years later.

Before tying the knot, the duo welcomed their first child, Kingston Fisher Lourd Rydell, in September 2020 and celebrated their “parental anniversary” one year later.
Rydell and Lourd later married on March 12, 2022, in an idyllic ceremony in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Lourd’s dress paid homage to her late mother, Carrie Fisher, and “in true Carrie fashion, we threw glitter in the air at the end of the ceremony,” she said.
“It was magical,” Lourd told Vogue. “I could not have dreamed up a more perfect wedding.”
