Billy Ray Cyrus is celebrating his son Braison’s 31st birthday with a social media tribute.
Taking to Instagram, the “Old Town Road” singer, 63, posted a photo of himself with Braison as well as his daughter Miley and her boyfriend Maxx Morando on Friday, May 9.
“Happy Birthday Braison!!!!! 🎉♥️😃” Billy Ray captioned the family snap. (Billy Ray has six children. He adopted Brandi, 37, and Trace, 36, the biological children of ex-wife Tish Cyrus. He welcomed Miley, 32, Braison and Noah, 25, during his relationship with Tish. He also shares son Christopher Cody, 33, with Kristen Luckey.)
Fans flocked to the comments section to express how excited they were to see several members of the Cyrus clan together in one shot, given the ups and downs the famous family have shared this year.
“This picture makes me so happy for the whole fam !” wrote one follower, while another added, “Happy birthday to Braison!! May God bless your family, so happy to see y’all together!!”
Another follower wrote, “LADIES & GENTLEMEN: LOVE WON ❤️🩹🫂”
It’s not the first time Billy Ray has publicly given a shout out to his children via an Instagram post.
In March, the “Achy Breaky Heart” singer penned a sweet message for daughters Noah and Miley to celebrate their respective music achievements.
“Holy s**t. I seldom ever swear in my post but this deserves one!” Billy Ray wrote at the time. “You are witnessing in real time what it feels like for a Dad who with in less than one weeks time has had his ass kicked and his mind blown by not one …but two of his own daughters @mileycyrus @noahcyrus.”
He added, “Flesh and blood … completely taking their art to a whole new level . Congratulations girls ! Well done. I’m so damn proud of both of you. I’m actually crying as I write this. Thank God you can’t see me. Have fun now and be happy ! 😊Love Dad.”

Billy Ray’s birthday post for Braison comes after the family previously made headlines for their relationships with one another. In January, Trace claimed that Billy Ray was “not healthy,” and he was “genuinely worried.” Braison later responded by alleging that the musician was both “healthy” and “happy.”
Seemingly in response to Braison’s claims, Trace appeared to suggest that neither his brother nor Billy Ray were doing well. Later that month, Billy Ray shared that he was “praying” for his family.
