The Blue Bloods cast and crew are remembering their emotional final day of filming the final episode of the series.

Showrunner Kevin Wade shared a photo of the call sheet from the season 14 finale titled “End of Tour” in a Friday, June 20, Instagram post.

“A year ago today Blue Bloods wrapped a pretty epic run after fourteen years,” his caption read. “Cheers to the hundreds who brought it and the millions who watched it.”

Will Hochman, who played Joe Hill on the police procedural drama, commented several trophy emojis underneath the post to commemorate the day. The Blue Bloods series finale aired in December 2024. I hope you all are happy and healthy! Love you!!”

The comments section flooded with fans sharing how much they have been missing watching the show on CBS every Friday night.

“Miss you and Blue Bloods so much! You guys left such a legacy with all those great episodes!” one person commented.

“I miss seeing you on Blue Bloods! I hope to see you in something new soon!” a second person shared.

“As a retired NYPD sergeant with 20 years on the job (and some time behind the detective shield), I’ve seen it all. You nailed exactly what my brothers and sisters in blue went through. Hats off to you, Det. Solid work!” a third commenter penned.

Abigail Hawk, who played Abigail Baker, wrote, “I miss you, my talented wonderful friend.”

The Blue Bloods series finale featured the devastating death of Officer Loius Badillo after an ambush by a local gang and a heartbreaking funeral scene with the entire cast. While Blue Bloods as we know it came to an end with a bang, a spinoff series titled Boston Blue is currently in the works at the network.

Wahlberg, 55, will be reprising his role of Danny as he moves to Boston and takes a position with the Boston PD. Fans are eagerly awaiting to see if Ramirez, 47, will be making an appearance in the series. Wahlberg has already teased that Blue Bloods characters may appear in the upcoming spinoff, which will air on CBS this fall.

“Now, it’s just Danny going to this new world, but I can’t say a lot about it — but I could say, if he’s a Reagan, it will never be just Danny,” he said in an April interview with Fox News Digital. “There’ll always be a Reagan a phone call away.”

He continued, “And the traditions that the Reagans have, Danny wouldn’t abandon those traditions.”
