Police have issued an Amber Alert for a 7-year-old boy who was allegedly abducted in Milwaukee.
Jamal White was allegedly “taken at gunpoint” outside his home in a white Jeep Renegade SUV at around 7:00 p.m. local time on Friday, July 11, the Milwaukee Police Department (MPD) said in their notice.
White is four feet tall, weighs 80 pounds and was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and black shorts, the MPD added in a missing person’s post on Facebook.
Police said they are currently searching for a Black male suspect wearing a black face mask and a black hooded sweatshirt.
White is believed to have been taken away in the SUV with an unknown license plate, police said in the Amber Alert.
No other details tied to the alleged abduction have been released at this time.
A woman who said she is White’s grandmother wrote in a post on Facebook after the alleged abduction of the young boy’s family, “We are exhausted and haven’t gotten any sleep.”
“We’re still praying and asking the community to join us in prayer and stay alert. Please be on the lookout for this white Jeep Renegade. Every set of eyes helps,” she continued.
