Brad and Monica Culpepper, who have been married since 1992, welcomed three children.
The Survivor alums became parents when they had their eldest child, son Rex, in August 1997. They later welcomed son Judge in November 1999 and daughter Honor in December 2001. The couple raised their children in Tampa, Fla.
Brad — who previously played as a defensive tackle in the NFL for the Minnesota Vikings, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Chicago Bears — and Monica's children all inherited their athleticism and played sports in college. Rex went on to become a quarterback with Syracuse University, while Judge played football at the University of Toledo and Honor was a member of the New York University basketball team.
Rex suddenly died from injuries he sustained in a March 14 dirt bike accident in Florida, the Tampa Bay Times reported. The Syracuse football team also confirmed his death by sharing a statement about the tragic death.

Brad and Monica became parents on Aug. 17, 1997, when they welcomed son Rex.
He followed in his father's footsteps and played football at H.B. Plant High School in Tampa, where he became the No. 7 quarterback in the state and team captain, according to his Syracuse bio.
Rex committed to Syracuse University in 2016 and started playing with the team his freshman year in 2017. He went on to play as a quarterback for the school for 30 games from 2017 to 2020.
However, in the midst of his collegiate football career, he was diagnosed with testicular cancer in March 2018. He subsequently underwent surgery and 10 weeks of chemotherapy before he announced he was in remission in June 2018. Rex went on to receive the school's first Jim DaRin Courage Award. He graduated with an undergraduate degree in advertising and was pursuing a master’s degree in instructional design, development and evaluation.
Rex was in a relationship with Savanna Morgan for six years. He announced their engagement less than a month before his death. On March 16, Morgan posted several pictures of Rex and the two of them together to share the news of his death.
“No one expects to meet the love of your life and lose them in only 6 short years after meeting,” Morgan wrote. “Rex didnt always believe in soulmates but towards the end he told me that he didnt realize what having a soulmate felt like until we felt like extensions of each other … I dont regret a single day in our 6 years.”
Rex's siblings, Honor and Judge, paid tribute to their older brother in a joint Instagram post and described him as the "center of all Universe's," while asking people to comment memories of him.
The Syracuse football team also shared a statement on Rex's death and wrote that he "lived his life with endless passion, having overcome cancer at the age of 20 while playing for the Orange. Appearing in 30 games, Rex played football as fierce as he lived life. Our hearts are with the Culpepper family & all those who loved him."

The Culpeppers became a family of four when Brad and Monica welcomed their second son, Judge, on Nov. 24, 1999.
Just like his father and his brother, Judge also got involved with football and specifically plays defensive tackle — the same position as his dad. Judge became a four-time letterman at H.B. Plant High School and was ranked the No. 118 Florida prospect, per his University of Toledo roster.
Judge initially signed with Pennsylvania State University from 2019 to 2020, where he played in 22 games and was a two-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree. He transferred to the University of Toledo ahead of the 2021 season and started in dozens of games ahead of his final 2023 season.
In December 2023, Judge announced that he was diagnosed with testicular cancer and subsequently flew home to Tampa to have a tumor removed. Thankfully, the cancer did not spread, and he was declared cancer-free after the surgery.
Judge returned to football after his surgery and signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers — one of his dad's former teams — as a defensive tackle in April 2024.

The youngest member of the Culpepper family and the only daughter, Honor Culpepper, was born on Dec. 4, 2001.
Honor focused on basketball and played at Plant High School before continuing to play at New York University.
Honor began attending NYU in 2020 and played in nearly 50 games from 2021 to 2023, while also earning UAA Winter Sport All-Academic for two consecutive seasons, per her NYU Roster. In 2024, Honor helped the team win the NCAA Division III Championship.
"I also feel incredibly lucky to have the support of the NYU Women’s Basketball sisterhood," she told NYU in March 2025. "Some of my closest friends came from basketball, and they’ve been my rocks."
After her May 2024 graduation, she enrolled in the school again to study law. She was initially pursuing a career in sports journalism, but she transitioned to an interest in law after interning with CBS and working with their legal team.
"Ultimately, I decided to pursue law in hopes of dovetailing my love for journalism with law and helping protect and shape the Fourth Estate," she told the college. "But who am I kidding? With a name like 'Honor,' I seem to have been predestined for a career in law all along."
As for her personal life, Honor announced in July 2025 that she was engaged to Elijah Klein — who plays on the Buccaneers with Judge.
