Brad Pitt is getting candid about his sexuality.
On the June 23 episode of the Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard podcast, the F1 star, 61, touched on aspects of his intimate life and shared that he believes the chance for one particular experience is now behind him.
It all started when host Dax Shepard began, “Given the way you and I met, does it make you nervous—,” to which Pitt jokingly interjected, “Sexually, you mean?”
“Oh, he wishes!” Shepard’s co-host Monica Padman chimed in, as Shepard teased, “That’s hopefully where it ends!”
Pitt then admitted, “You know, I’ve never had a gay experience. I kind of missed that window.” He then turned to Shepard and added, “But if I did, it wouldn’t be you.”
“Oh man, you had me,” Shepard said while laughing. “I was like, ‘Wow, he’s going to say it.’ ”
The Moneyball star then jokingly noted that the comedian would “maybe” be “14th, or 15th” down the line. Shepard then teased that Pitt would “need to build up to me” and recommended that he “start with some starters.”
The Oscar winner is currently dating Ines de Ramon, whom he was first linked with in 2022. The pair were spotted at the L.A. premiere of his film Babylon and at his 59th birthday together before making their red carpet debut in September 2024 at the Wolfs premiere during the Venice Film Festival.
It was also confirmed by PEOPLE that de Ramon had moved into Pitt’s Los Angeles home in February 2024. A source shared in July that “things have been amazing since they moved in together,” and “it’s more of a serious relationship than just dating.” The insider added, “Brad loves so many things about her. She’s great for him.”
When asked by GQ in May if the decision to make his first public appearance with de Ramon at a Formula 1 race was strategic, given he was filming his F1 movie at the time, Pitt shut down the rumors.

“No, dude, it’s not that calculated,” he said. “If you’re living, oh my God, how exhausting would that be? If you’re living with making those kinds of calculations? No, life just evolves. Relationships evolve.”
Previously, Pitt was married to Angelina Jolie — whom he shares kids Maddox Chivan, 23, Pax Thien, 21, Zahara Marley, 20, Shiloh Nouvel, 19, and twins, Knox Léon and Vivienne Marcheline, 16 — from 2014 – 2016. The two were together for over 12 years.
He was also previously married to Jennifer Aniston from 2000 – 2005 and was once engaged to Gwyneth Paltrow. He also dated Juliette Lewis, Christina Applegate and Emily Ratajkowski.
F1 is now in theaters.
