Cliff Booth is headed back into the action.
Brad Pitt is reprising his role as the no-nonsense, casually funny stuntman Cliff Booth in the upcoming Once Upon a Time in Hollywood sequel, according to Variety. Though the film will be written by Quentin Tarantino—who wrote and directed the original—in a departure for the Pulp Fiction creator, who usually helms both the writing and directing of his movies, this second installment will be directed by David Fincher.
So far, no official title or release date has been announced, though the project is being set up at Netflix with filming to begin this summer, per The Playlist. It is also yet to be determined if Leonardo DiCaprio will reprise his role as Rick Dalton in the film.
Brad’s role as Cliff Booth—who served as Army veteran turned Rick’s stuntman in the 2019 film—was loosely based off Hal Needham, Burt Reynolds’ best friend and stuntman. The role ultimately earned Brad another Academy Award to add to his collection when he took home Best Supporting Actor in 2020.
