It’s all happening at JonasCon, including a surprise cameo from Scheana Shay.
The Jonas Brothers — featuring siblings Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas — hosted a namesake fan convention at the American Dream Mall in New Jersey on Sunday, March 23, complete with performances, panels, pop-up shops and other activities.
At one point, Shay, 39, hit the main stage to dance to the song “Pizza Girl” from the band’s eponymous Disney Channel sitcom. Shay took the stage, microphone in hand, wearing a T-shirt and baseball hat from the fictional pizza shop from the show.
On a 2009 episode of J.O.N.A.S, all three brothers developed a crush on the delivery girl named Maria and kept ordering new pizzas in order to catch another glimpse at her. Kevin, now 37, Joe, now 35, and Nick, now 32, also repurposed their song “Video Girl” to be about the “Pizza Girl.”
On Sunday, Shay danced to the “Pizza Girl” rendition as she filmed the occasion for her social media followers.
“JONASCON!!!!” Shay wrote via her Instagram Stories on Sunday, sharing crowd footage. She also added a sticker that read, “Pizza Girl.”
Shay has since been candid about getting her big break — long before Bravo’s reality TV series Vanderpump Rules exploded in popularity — on the Disney hit.
“Everyone in their mid-20s is like, ‘You’re the Pizza Girl?’” Shay recalled to former costar Ally Lewber during the 2023 VPR reunion.
That same year, Shay detailed her audition experience on her “Scheananigans” podcast.
“I auditioned for their show on Disney,” she recalled in July 2023. “So, I had a major guest-starring role in an entire episode and part of that episode was this dream [and] cheesy — pun intended — sequence of this massive pizza being built and I’m the girl. I was the pizza girl that they all had a crush on.”
According to Shay, the three musicians were “so innocent and shy” during production.
“They were so innocent and shy and still in their purity ring phase,” she quipped. “My, how things have changed.”
Kevin, Joe and Nick infamously sported rings as a pledge of chastity throughout their early years in the spotlight and as part of their Christian faith. As the siblings grew up, they eventually took off the jewelry when they started dating.

Kevin and Nick are now married to Danielle Jonas and Priyanka Chopra Jonas, respectively. Joe, meanwhile, finalized his divorce from Sophie Turner last year.
“Joe and the purity ring thing was kind of like a modern-day Cinderella. Joe tried to find a match for his purity rings a few times, but finally, the finger fit me,” Turner, 29, previously joked about the jewelry in the Jonas Brothers Family Roast that aired on Netflix in November 2021. “It was also like Cinderella because most of the girls he tried it with were under contract to Disney.”
Turner, who shares two daughters with Joe, has since moved on with aristocrat Peregrine “Perry” Pearson.
