Brian Austin Green thought he was Megan Fox’s twin flame.
Five years after he and the Jennifer’s Body star—who share kids Noah, 12, Bodhi, 11, and Journey, 8—broke up spring in 2020, the Beverly Hills, 90210 alum reflected on her beginning a high-profile romance with Machine Gun Kelly just a few months later.
“It was a quick moving thing,” Brian—who admitted he was “devastated” by Megan wanting a divorce—admitted on the Oldish podcast May 5. “It went from, ‘Hey we should get a divorce’ to all of a sudden like, ‘Hey my twin flame,’ and ‘I manifested him.’”
However, the 51-year-old—whose battle with ulcerative colitis left him bedridden for years just before his divorce—noted that his health issues helped him get through that difficult life chapter.
“Because of the health stuff I had gone through at the point when she approached me and the Machine Gun Kelly stuff and everything was happening,” Brian recalled, “I was genuinely in a place of with all of the stuff I’ve dealt with, ‘I can deal with this,’ Like, ‘This is not going to kill me, the other thing could’ve killed me’ I’ll be okay.”
