Jax Taylor Gives Brittany Cartwright Full Custody of Son Cruz in New Divorce Filing
Brittany Cartwright is clearing up the confusion.
After her ex Jax Taylor, with whom Brittany shares son Cruz, 3, seemingly claimed that they weren’t legally married, she shut that notion down.
Underneath E! News’ Oct. 2 Instagram post about the situation, The Valley star wrote, “We are legally married. I’m guessing paperwork is hard for some people.”
Lance Bass, who officiated the couple’s 2019 ceremony, also replied to Brittany’s comment, writing, “I can confirm this. Pastor Lance signed the papers.”
Brittany’s latest comment comes a little more than a month after she filed for divorce from her husband of five years.
Jax’s response to the petition, obtained by E! News Oct. 2, included the Vanderpump Rules alum checking a box confirming that he and Brittany are married as well as a separate box reading, “Respondent contends that the parties never legally married or registered in a domestic partnership.”
However, the reality star later shared that the legal paperwork—which was handwritten and self-submitted—contained a few errors.
