Though The Hunting Wives stars made a splash on the Emmys red carpet, Brittany Snow didn’t linger at too many afterparties — “I’m definitely a homebody,” the actress exclusively told PEOPLE.
Amid extensive travel for work, Snow experiences an energy “reset” during the quiet moments at home. “It gives me such comfort to be around things that feel like myself and feel true to me,” she shared. One of those things? Her Lovesac sofa.
She associates the cozy couch brand not only with comfy movie nights but with an actor friend whose sofa she coveted in her early 20s. “I remember being like, ‘Wow, if I ever make it big like him, I’ll get a Lovesac, too,’” she mused. And now Snow’s partnering with the brand for the newly launched Snugg collection.

The detail that stands out most to the actress about this collection: “It’s so durable and dependable.” Part of that durability comes from the machine-washable cushion covers. “Everyone in my life makes fun of me, that, without a doubt, I will get something on the cushions,” Snow admits, adding that she carries Tide To Go pens everywhere due to inevitable spills and mishaps (a trait we share).
We also both have dogs, and while Snow’s pup prefers perching on the front window ledge of her home, mine has taken up residence on my own Lovesac’s ottoman, which now requires regular washing. The removable covers save so much time and truly extend the life of the furniture, which makes the investment feel more worthwhile. “I am my mother’s daughter in that way. I get a little high feeling when I get a good bargain,” Snow said, showing me her latest find, a beautiful mirrored wall piece. If you want to take a page from her design book, we found another mirrored wall hanging to bring home; though if you want something totally one-of-a-kind, you’ll have to hit the vintage markets like Snow.

Burning fall candles is another way she literally and figuratively adds warmth to her home. “There are cinnamon candles that I really like,” Snow explained. “I have Yankee Candles all over my house, which kind of remind me of my childhood. There are so many different scents that sort of evoke the feeling of memories that I’ve had. I always have a candle lit.”

Of course, cozy fall afternoons aren’t quite the same without a soft blanket to nest with. The actress said she has a “big blanket family,” and that her movie room has a drawer and shelving system primarily dedicated to blankets. As a nod to the show, we found this soft Lola Blanket in a Hunting Wives-esque camo pattern — ideal for curling up under while you read the book (assuming you’ve already flown through the show, as we did).

While some solely lean into the autumnal hues for fall, as a new homeowner of six months, Snow is also excited to decorate for Halloween. “I enjoy a spider web situation out in the front,” she said, noting the festive atmosphere she’s planning for trick-or-treaters who come to the door. She calls herself “a girl who goes on Amazon” to find the cheapest ghostly décor; not quite monsters-and-ghouls-level scary, but something sophisticated yet seasonally playful.
Don’t ask her to carve a jack-o’-lantern though: “I learned that a couple years ago. It’s really hard […] and mine looked like he had seen better days.” Instead, she opts to decorate pumpkins with markers or paints.
Making a house feel like home is no small task, and though Snow’s Hunting Wives character, Sophie, never quite settles into her home (a neat production detail you’ll have to look for in the show), the actress couldn’t be more comfortable. Whether kicking back on her Lovesac sofa, enjoying the fresh air from her compact air purifier, or checking the mailbox for the fall book she just pre-ordered, Snow has definitively nested in her new abode.
“I love my house,” she said fondly. “I definitely always want to go home.”
