Brooklyn Beckham Swoons Over Nicola Peltz Beckham Hours After His Family Posts Group Photo Together in Paris

Brooklyn Peltz Beckham is enjoying life with his wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham.

Just after his mother, Victoria Beckham, posted a social media recap highlighting a family trip to Paris, the 26-year-old Cloud 23 hot sauce CEO shared one of his own with himself and the Lola actress, 31. 

“I love you,” he captioned a video uploaded to TikTok on Monday, Jan. 26, tagging Nicola. 

The video showed the couple, who wed in April 2022, spending time together with their dog. 

In the montage, the pair are standing in a bathroom, with Nicola smiling as she holds their pup and Brooklyn kisses her. Next, they are at a beach watching the waves before enjoying red wine at dinner. 

Other moments show Brooklyn admiring his wife as she strolls through a scenic, rustic property. The post features the couple standing under a floral canopy and ends with them hugging one another.

Just before Brooklyn’s post, the former Spice Girl and fashion designer, 51, uploaded an Instagram Carousel stating, “I’m so honoured to be named a Chevalière de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres by the French Ministry of Culture.” 

Her 17-photo post, which included cameos from former Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour and French Minister of Culture, Rachida Dati, among others, also included her family showing their support.

Victoria posed alongside her husband, David Beckham, their daughter Harper, 14, and sons Cruz, 20, and Romeo, 23.

Also featured in photos were her sons’ respective girlfriends, Jackie Apostel and Kim Turnbull.

Monday’s post comes exactly one week after Brooklyn shared shocking claims to social media about his mother and father, 50, on Jan. 19 alleging his family has been trying to drive a rift between him and Nicola for years.

In several detailed messages posted to his Instagram Stories, he claimed the perception of the Beckhams as a “perfect family” was a façade, and that his “wife has been consistently disrespected” by his family, with them saying that Nicola was “not blood.”

He also alleged that Victoria “hijacked my first dance with my wife, which had been planned weeks in advance to a romantic love song” performed by Marc Anthony.

Reps for David and Victoria have not returned PEOPLE’s request for comment.

A source familiar with the situation later told PEOPLE “Brooklyn and Nicola are the only ones who have access to video,” and that the couple would be mortified if footage of the dance was ever made public. 

Brooklyn previously said on Jan. 19 that Victoria “danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone,” adding, “I’ve never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life.”

Insiders say the hostility between the Beckhams and their daughter-in-law goes far beyond any wedding drama. “Victoria and Nicola got along in the first few months, but then Victoria started acting like a jealous girlfriend,” a Peltz family source told PEOPLE for this week’s cover story. “She seemed so jealous of Nicola.” Not so, counters a Beckham insider: “Nicola is the one who is jealous of Victoria. She wants to be famous.” 

A separate source with knowledge of the situation told PEOPLE, “David and Victoria have repeatedly asked Brooklyn and Nicola to meet and talk in order to move forward.”

“David loves his kids,” the insider added. “They are his everything.”

However, Brooklyn’s social media statement claimed otherwise, noting that he and Nicola traveled to London for David’s 50th birthday last year but were “rejected” by Victoria and David.

Though Brooklyn has firmly drawn a line in the sand, “David and Victoria believe that over time Brooklyn will come back,” a family source tells PEOPLE. “But they can’t do anything until then.”
