Bryan Cranston would entrust his health to The Pitt’s Dr. King.
Why? Well, because actress Taylor Dearden is his and wife Robin Dearden’s daughter—and the Malcolm in the Middle alum couldn’t be happier for her success.
“There’s nothing more gratifying than when your kid receives praise—nothing,” Bryan told the AP during the premiere of Everything’s Going To Be Great at the Tribeca Festival June 9. “No one can say anything to me that’s better than that. So, her mom and I are over the moon with her work on it. She’s a very hard-working person.”
After all, with two parents in show business, acting is practically written into Taylor’s DNA.
“She grew up in it,” Bryan noted. “So it’s in her bones. She’s in it for the right reasons, and she loves it.”
And if Taylor ever needs advice, she doesn’t have to look far.
“I think she picks up—because I’m her dad—she picks up advice hopefully by the way I behave in this business and navigate my way through,” the Breaking Bad alum said. “But I don’t ever say, ‘Now young lady, here’s some advice I want to give you.’ Kids don’t want to hear that.”
