Carly Waddell and Fiance Todd Allen Tressler Want More Kids: ‘Going to Start Trying Naturally’

Carly Waddell and her fiancé, Todd Allen Tressler, have discussed expanding their family.

“Yes, we do want more kids!” Waddell, 39, wrote during an Instagram Story Q&A session on Wednesday, April 9. “Never thought I would say that, but here I am saying it.”

Waddell already shares daughter Bella, 7, and son Charlie, 3, with ex-husband Evan Bass, whom she met during Bachelor in Paradise season 3 in 2016. After the pair split in 2020, Waddell moved on with Tressler.

“We are going to start trying naturally,” the Bachelor Nation personality added on Wednesday. “But, I also have frozen eggs. Wish us luck!”

Waddell proposed to Tressler, an attorney, in October 2023. He popped the question back exactly one year later.

“A little thing happened in Costa Rica 💍,” Waddell wrote via Instagram in October 2024. “Many of y’all have been wondering why Todd wears a ring on his hand and it is actually because I asked him last Halloween to marry me first!”

She added, “SPOILER ALERT, he said yes, even though to be honest he was so shocked it was hard for him to be! Then, also SPOILER ALERT he asked me THIS October and I also said YES!!!! … Here’s to a new chapter with my dream man and the dream ring he put on my left hand.”

Waddell and Tressler started dating in July 2023 after the Bachelor alum slid into his DMs following an in-person missed connection.

“He told me he was old school and would love to call me sometime,” Waddell wrote via Instagram in March 2024. “I asked him out in the most awkward voice text ever that I thought would never send and then it [accidentally] did. He laughed and accepted.”

Waddell also continues to coparent Bella and Charlie with Bass, 42. (Bass, who shares three older sons with past partners, is currently dating Kristen Rodgers.)

Speaking to Us Weekly in April 2023, Waddell called splitting custody with Bass “really easy.”

“He’s done this before, you know what I mean? He has three older kids. The oldest one is now, like, 21 [or] 22. And the middle one’s going off to college. His kids are older, he’s raised ’em since they were babies. He knows what he is doing,” Waddell exclusively told Us. “They go over there every other weekend. And I remember at first I was like, ‘Oh my gosh, like, what are they doing over there?’ But now I’m just like, ‘He’s got it.’ If there’s ever a problem, like, a sickness or something, we talk about it and we work it out. But it’s not a problem. It’s very easy.”
