Wide receiver Juwan Johnson and his wife, Chanen Johnson, slayed the 2025 NFL Honors red carpet after an unforeseen wardrobe malfunction.
“No, yeah, so I’m actually crying,” Chanen, 28, said in a Thursday, February 6, TikTok video. “I actually just finished having a whole entire mental breakdown because NFL Honors dress broke. We [were] supposed to leave 10 minutes ago.”
She added, “I’m actually the most sad and I have no clothes, so this is what I’m wearing [instead].”
At the last minute, Chanen found a burgundy minidress that she paired with a beige fur stole. She accessorized her ensemble with wine-colored pumps and silver hoop earrings.

“I hate it so much,” she quipped. “And this [fur] is the belt to my Khy jacket. It’s cute, but this is the beautiful dress I was supposed to wear. It literally came broken.”
Chanen had been hoping to wear a long gold dress that featured ruched elements across the midsection.
“It was so stunning and cute and amazing and it’s beautiful,” Chanen added. “It was [supposed to have] a wet look.”
Chanen didn’t let the unforeseen wardrobe mishap deter her experience at the annual NFL Honors later on Thursday. She and Juwan, 28, were all smiles as they posed together on the red carpet. The pro football star, for his part, opted for a black, double-breasted suit with a handful of silver chains.
The NFL Honors took place on Thursday in New Orleans — the home of Super Bowl LIX. The big game will take place on Sunday, February 9, at the New Orleans Saints’ Caesars Superdome stadium.

The Saints, however, are not playing in the big game. The NFL championship will instead feature the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles in a rematch of the 2023 Super Bowl.
At the end of the 2024-2025 season with the Saints, Juwan became a free agent. Throughout his NFL highs and lows, Chanen has been in his corner. After meeting during college, the pair wed in 2020 before welcoming their two daughters.
