Chrissy Metz has a new look!

The actress, 44, showed off her slimmer figure in a colorful, ruffle-trimmed dress at Variety’s Power of Women event on May 1 in Nashville, after previously revealing her 100-lb. weight loss.

Her pastel pink, blue and yellow short-sleeve dress hit right below the knee, and also featured a ruffled V-neckline and three-quarter-length sleeves.

The This Is Us alum paired the look with white cowboy boots and a layered pearl and silver chain necklace. For her glam, she opted for a glowy, pink makeup look with dramatic lashes. She also wore her long brown hair down in loose waves.

Metz told the Daily Mail in April that she had lost 100 lbs. during an interview to promote her children’s book, When I Talk to God, I Talk About Feelings. She also said she had been consistently practicing weight lifting.

“I have always enjoyed strength training. I’ve always enjoyed lifting weights — like, I don’t want to run unless I’m being chased,” the actress said of her fitness regime, which involves a personal trainer.

Metz credited her long-term health as the motivation for her health journey. “I want to age the best way that I can, and I want to be strong. And that’s really the impetus behind any of it,” she said.

The actress also noted to the outlet that it’s important to “destigmatize” the prescription medication Ozempic, which has been used by many celebrities for weight loss.

“It’s something I feel like, it is so personal and I think it’s important to destigmatize anything,” she said of the drug. “But I also think it’s people’s personal decision to decide what it is that they want to do for their body. I think ultimately, at the end of the day, we all just want to feel good and feel good about ourselves.”

Metz has long been open about her weight and body image. In November 2018, she told Glamour that it took her decades to feel comfortable enough to wear a swimsuit.

“I grew up wearing a T-shirt at the pool,” she explained. “As an adult, I was like, ‘I’m gonna find a bathing suit I like and I’m gonna wear it.’ ”

Earlier that summer, Metz did just that. While vacationing with a friend in Barbados, the actress snapped a photo of herself wearing a black Lane Bryant suit and shared it on Instagram.

Metz recalled that she received a few strange responses to the post. “There were people like, ‘Oh my God, look at you! You know I could never do that,’ ” she recalled to the outlet. “It’s a backhanded compliment, but I’m doing what I want to do.”

Metz’s weight loss journey is not the only new thing in her life. In April, she spoke to PEOPLE in an exclusive interview about her move from Los Angeles to Nashville.

“I was in L.A. for 21 years, but my family is in Florida, where I’m from, and during the pandemic, I could drive to them from here. It’s just a better quality of life here. Everything is 15 minutes away, and it’s just so much less stress,” she said.

She said she enjoys the overall vibe of Nashville. “There’s a lot going on,” she explained. “There’s obviously great music, great food. I grew up in the South, so I’m used to sort of that hospitality — it feels more communal here. In L.A., it was always like, ‘Oh, you have an audition? What’s it for? Oh, you have an audition? What for?’ It was all very dog-eat-dog.”
