Chrissy Teigen’s daughter Esti may only be two, but she’s already offering her mom styling tips!
The Cravings author, 39, shared a glimpse inside her amazing walk-in closet to her Instagram Stories on Wednesday, Mar. 4, and revealed her daughter Esti helping her pick out shoes.
“These are so pretty,” the tot said as she selected a pair of white strappy open-toed pumps from a line of shoes in the vast closet. “Esti’s picking my outfit,” her model mom added from off-camera, before asking her daughter, “Which ones? The boots or those?”
Esti — who is dressed in a purple sweatsuit — then sat on the floor and tried on the too-big shoes. “These shiny ones,” Esti decided, selecting the white shoes.
“Oh, you want to wear those?” Teigen laughed, adding that Esti’s choice of footwear may be a little inappropriate for gardening!
The next Instagram Stories frame shows Teigen in the more practical boots, declaring them “so cute,” as Esti agreed off-camera, “so, so cute.”
“Let’s go get some tomatoes,” the mom of four concluded while posing in front of her closet’s mirror, revealing rows and rows of immaculately organized clothes.
While Esti appears to have inherited her mom’s love of fashion, one trait Teigen is keen to ensure her daughter doesn’t take on is her tendency to be a people pleaser.
During the debut episode of her new Audible podcast, Self-Conscious which landed on Feb. 27, the star opened up to guest Mel Robbins about her ongoing struggle with seeking approval — and teared up as she admitted she’s afraid her children will be the same.
“Really scared of passing this along to my kids. I think that is the big realization for me is, I can’t do this to my kids,” said Teigen, who shares four children — daughter Luna Simone, 8, son Miles Theodore, 6, Esti Maxine and son Wren Alexander Stephens, 20 months — with husband John Legend.

She continued: “I don’t ever want them to feel like they have to perform for everybody and be good all the time, but I know that sometimes I probably am that way.”

Teigen then touched on characteristics she hopes her children do take on, adding that she doesn’t want people to think they’re “celebrity a—hole kids.”
“I want them to be the most polite,” she said, adding, “I might go harder the other direction to make sure that they don’t come off that way.”
