Christina Haack and Tarek El Moussa Celebrate Son Brayden’s 10th Birthday: ‘Our Big Boy!’

Christina Haack and Tarek El Moussa’s son Brayden is celebrating double digits!

On Wednesday, Aug. 20, Christina, Tarek and Tarek’s wife Heather Rae El Moussa posted separate Instagram messages celebrating Brayden’s 10th birthday with heartfelt messages to the fourth grader. 

Tarek, 43, and ex-wife Christina, 42, share Brayden and daughter, Taylor Reese, 14. The HGTV stars split in 2016, and finalized their divorce in 2018. Tarek and Christina have remained devoted co-parents to their kids. Tarek also shares a 2-year-old son, Tristan, with his wife, Selling Sunset star Heather Rae El Moussa. Christina and her ex, Ant Anstead, are parents to son Hudson London, 5.

“To my oldest son Brayden….words can’t express how much I love you! I never thought I’d have a son similar to me in so many ways,” Tarek’s sentimental Instagram caption began. 

The HGTV star remarked on his and Brayden’s revealed that their similarities extend beyond their shared appearance. “We are also wired the same!  It is very clear that we are father and son❤️,” he wrote.

As he continued, he remarked how he loves to play video games and fish with his son. “I’m so excited for the upcoming adventures as our years go on and you get bigger, older, and stronger. Until that happens, you are still daddy‘s little boy.” 

“I love you so much so from me and the rest of the world happy birthday!!!❤️❤️❤️,” Tarek concluded. 

Christina then commented, “Time goes by too fast 😢😢.”

Christina’s post the celebrated her “sweet, feisty, kind, smart, sensitive and spiritual” son. 

“My biggest supporter- he has his mama’s back,” she wrote. “He gives the biggest hugs and when he likes you, you know it… I love our bond, our dates, our laughs & our love for each other. Proud mama ❤️ ☀️ 🌙 ✨.”

Tarek also commented on her post, simply writing, “Our big boy!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️.”

The kind words didn’t stop there. Brayden’s stepmother, Heather, also dedicated an Instagram post to him.

“Happy 10th Birthday to our Bray Bray 💙,” she wrote, before sharing how “sweet, resilient, funny, and so strong-minded” he is, along with “always” knowing how “to make everyone laugh.” 

She then said that he’s “the best big brother to Tristan,” and she loves to watch Brayden with Tristan and Taylor.

“You have brought so much love and joy into my life. I’m so grateful to be your bonus mama 💕,” she wrote, before concluding, “We love you SO much and can’t wait to celebrate YOU today! 🥳🥳.”

“❤️❤️❤️,” Christina commented, with Tarek adding, “I can’t believe he’s 10❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️.”

Each parent celebrated with Instagram carousels of Brayden throughout the years, from infancy to becoming a pre-teen. Along with featuring photos of each parent with Brayden themselves, all three also added sweet pictures of Brayden with his siblings and the entire family.

Tarek, Christina and Heather each also added adorable snaps to their Instagram Stories of Brayden. The proud father shared a few clips of Brayden exhibiting his personality, from fishing with his dad, to making faces during a school performance, and running freely in their neighborhood.

Heather also added videos of the family preparing for Brayden’s big birthday bash, with sweet glimpses of Tristan playing with Christina’s son Hudson.

Days before Brayden’s birthday, he headed off to fourth grade. On Monday, Aug. 18, Christina, Tarek and Heather shared a joint post on Instagram as they celebrated Brayden’s first day of school. In the sweet photo, the blended family could be seen posing together as they honored the newly minted fourth grader.

Tarek and Heather were pictured on one side, with Heather holding Tristan in her arms. Brayden stood between his stepmom and his mom, who had one arm around her son.
