Christina Ricci turned her Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony into a full-fledged family affair.
As Ricci, 45, received a star on the famed boulevard, she was accompanied by her husband of four years, Mark Hampton, and her two children. (The Yellowjackets star shares daughter Cleo, 3, with Hampton and son James, 10, with ex-husband James Heerdegen.)
The family of four posed for photos on the red carpet before Cleo stole the spotlight when she started twirling on her mom’s star.
Ricci also shouted out her loved ones in her acceptance speech.

A blended family! Christina Ricci and her husband Mark Hampton tend to keep their family life pretty private, but occasionally share rare glimpses into their roles as parents. The Casper actress shares son Freddie with ex-husband James Heerdegen. The then-couple welcomed son Freddie in 2014, nearly a year after tying the knot. Ricci filed for […]
“I want to thank my family,” she said. “Mark, you’re the most supportive and loving husband. Freddie, you made me feel so much love the day you were born and reconnected me to art, passion and ambition. And Cleo, my gorgeous little baby girl, I love you so much. I’m inspired by all your strength, courage and spirit. She’s really spirited!”
Ricci also pointed out that she “couldn’t do this life” without her sister, Pia, and their mother.
“You’ve been there for me from the moment I was born,” the former child star said of her sibling. “Just everything, I call my sister in times of need and you are always there for me. And my brother-in-law, T.J., and my niece and nephew, Noah and Asa, I love you guys so much.”
She continued, “And my mother, who started this career with me when I was only 8, taught me how to take buses into the Port Authority [station and] made sure we didn’t get mugged on 9th Avenue and taught me to pretend I was staying in hotels to use the lobby bathroom — all the things.”
After delivering her heartfelt thanks, Ricci revealed the Walk of Fame honor “means so much” to her.

Yellowjackets star Christina Ricci has revealed that her 10-year-old son Freddie used to be very confused about her fame. “When [he] was young, he would say to me, ‘Why are people always hugging you?’” Ricci, 44, recalled on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday, February 5. “From the moment I started acting, I knew it was meant to be,” Ricci stated. “I just felt like I was finally doing the right thing — and I was only 7. And then, from the moment I stepped on a film set, I knew I was home. I’ve been a working actress for over 36 years and a part of this community. As much as I’ve always felt at home on a set, compulsively drawn to any base camp I drive past and love the feeling of stepping up to my mark … I don’t think I’d ever believed, as a young actress, I’d ever receive an honor like this.”
According to the Addams Family star, she used to feel “very much on the outside.”
“What made me special wasn’t always valued or popular, especially my days as a young adult,” Ricci continued. “I know I’m here and my career has thrived as it has only because of the belief others had in me and the work and support they were willing to offer me. … I’m only here because of the incredible people in my life who have traveled this world with me.”
