Christine Quinn’s Ex Demands Sanctions Due to ‘Selling Sunset’ Alum’s ‘Gamesmanship’ in Divorce

Christine Quinn’s estranged husband, Christian Dumontet, accused the Selling Sunset alum of refusing to answer questions as part of their bitter divorce and demanded she be sanctioned, Us Weekly can exclusively report.

On June 6, Dumontet filed a motion to compel Quinn, 36, to provide further responses to a series of questions.

He claimed Quinn refuses to “respond to the most basic discovery” and only provided “boilerplate objections without any substantive responses.”

Dumontet, 45, said Quinn’s “refusal to respond substantively effectively seeks to deny [him] the ability to fairly and effectively prosecute this dissolution proceeding.”

In his filing, Dumontet called Quinn’s moves “willful and without justification.” He said he tried to work out the issues with her, but she is “stonewalling” him.

Dumontet, 44, asked a superior court judge in Los Angeles on Tuesday, August 20, to amend the temporary restraining order against him by Quinn, 35, Us Weekly can confirm. According to court documents, Dumontet (who […]

He asked the court to “put an end to the gamesmanship by compelling [Quinn] to provide complete responses within 30 days and by ordering [Quinn] (who is self-represented) to pay” sanctions, which are a court-ordered penalty, in the amount of $5,590.

On the list of questions that Dumontet sent Quinn, he asked her to provide a list of all third parties who provided her support in the past 12 months.

She objected to the request, claiming it “appears to be an attempt by [Dumontet] to look for, continue to monitor, or keep [Quinn] under surveillance.”

Dumontet also asked Quinn to tell him the list of people she provided support to for the past 12 months, any people that she shares her home with, information on her current income in the past 12 months and all income earned in the past three years.

In addition, he asked her to turn over tax documents for the past three years and a list of her assets and debts. Dumontet also asked Quinn to list any gifts she had made without his consent in the past 24 months.

Quinn has yet to respond to Dumontet’s request.

As Us previously reported, Dumontet filed for divorce from Quinn in 2024, weeks after police were called to the then-couple’s home for a domestic disturbance.

Quinn accused Dumontet of throwing a bag of glass that she said hit their young son on accident. He denied the claims.

The police spoke to both parties and ended up booking Dumontet on an assault with a deadly weapon charge. He was released hours later.

In his divorce petition, Dumontet cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split.

He asked that Quinn be cut off from receiving spousal support. The exes, who wed in 2019, filed dueling requests for restraining orders against each other.

The court granted Quinn’s petition, which requires Dumontet to stay 100 yards away from her.

Quinn was also granted exclusive use of their home in Los Angeles. Dumontet accused the reality star of abandoning the home.

In August 2024, Dumonte’s attorney wrote, “It is clear that [Quinn] is not maintaining the property as the marital home, nor the familial home for the child. [Quinn] does not reside at the property nor has she maintained it since at least July of this year.”

He asked that he be allowed to move back in. In January, Quinn announced she had moved to Texas for a fresh start. The divorce is ongoing.
