Claire Danes and Hugh Dancy have sold their New York City townhouse.
The married actors sold their West Village abode for $9.9 million, the Wall Street Journal reports. The couple listed the home for $9.75 million in August 2024.
The Homeland actress and Hannibal alum first purchased the townhouse in 2012 for $6.9 million, according to property records. Tamer Howard of Corcoran, who held the listing, told the New York Times in August that the couple was seeking a bigger property to better accommodate their family of five and host their extended family.
Danes, 45, and Dancy, 49, share sons Rowan, 6, and Cyrus, 12, and a 19-month-old daughter. The couple tied the knot in 2009.
The 3,890-square-foot home has four bedrooms and four full bathrooms, as well as three lush outdoor spaces. The property, which has four levels and rooftop access, was built in the 1880s and offers views of the surrounding gardens.
The home’s first level includes a mudroom, coat closet and powder room, as well as a home office that can be concealed with floor-to-ceiling sliding doors.
The living room, which leads directly into the dining area and kitchen, boasts a cozy fireplace and 11-foot ceilings. Meanwhile, the kitchen includes heated floors, electric blinds and access to the terrace through a folding glass wall.
A wooden staircase leads up to the second level, where another fireplace can be found in the media room, which includes a wet bar and leads out to the terrace through more floor-to-ceiling glass doors. Also on the second floor is one of the four bedrooms.
Two of the other bedrooms are on the third floor. The fourth level is home to the entire primary bedroom suite. It includes skylights, custom-built closets, as well as a steam shower, soaking tub and additional fireplace in the primary bathroom.

The property includes a rooftop space with seating and dining areas and an outdoor kitchen surrounded by more greenery. The basement holds both a wine cellar and a laundry room.
Danes is set to star in Netflix’s upcoming series The Beast in Me, while Dancy stars in NBC’s Law & Order.
