Courteney Cox is celebrating her decades-long friendship with Jennifer Aniston!
On Tuesday, Feb. 11, Cox marked her fellow Friends alum’s 56th birthday with a sweet Instagram post.
“Happy birthday to my friend for life,” Cox wrote alongside a throwback snap of her and Aniston posing and smiling together. “Never has there been a more generous, loving, beautiful, talented, funny, loyal friend.”
She continued, “I feel so lucky to be growing up with you.”
“Remember our CATS audition? 😉,” Cox concluded, seemingly referencing their old-school pic.
Aniston expressed a similar sentiment for Cox’s 60th birthday in June.
“Celebrating this powerful, magical, mystical, interesting, interested, ferociously talented girl today!!! My sweet CC @courteneycoxofficial,” Aniston captioned a set of sentimental photos of her and Cox throughout the years. “She’s funny like no other, STUNNING on the inside and out. Independent in the most gorgeous way, cares for everyone even if she doesn’t know you.”
” I can’t imagine a world without her. It’s one of my great honors to call her one of my best friends for life… Happy happy birthday CC. I love you! ❤️,” Aniston added in part.
Cox and Aniston starred in all 10 seasons of Friends as Monica Geller and Rachel Green, respectively. Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc and the late Matthew Perry rounded out the close-knit cast.
In November, Cox playfully teased Aniston for keeping so many clothes from Rachel and Monica’s wardrobe.
“She took a lot of Monica’s dresses, and she’ll say, ‘Oh yeah, I used to wear this on Friends,” Cox said of Aniston on the Fashion Neurosis podcast in October. “And I mean, it looks great on her. She has a great figure and she’s adorable. But I’m like, ‘Why would you take this floral little prairie dress from Friends?’ But she holds on to everything.”
