Craig Conover and Natalie Buffett Aren’t ‘Exclusive’ or ‘Serious’ — But He Wants to ‘Settle Down’ (Exclusive)

Craig Conover and Natalie Buffett are “not exclusive” as their whirlwind romance cools off, Us Weekly can exclusively confirm.

The Southern Charm star, 36, has seen Buffett, 27, “recently,” but according to an insider “their relationship hasn’t progressed or become serious” because she “travels often.”

Conover has “always” considered the pair’s romance “fun,” the source exclusively tells Us, noting that he would “ideally like to settle down” when the right partner comes along.

When it comes to Conover’s relationship with Buffett, which began after his split from Paige DeSorbo last year, the pair “have a lot of fun” when they see each other.

“He really likes Natalie,” the insider says, noting, “Craig tends to go all in on his relationships and likes being monogamous.”

While the Sewing Down South founder is a relationship guy, the source explains, “Natalie is the type that can’t be tied down right now.” The model “doesn’t want to be in a relationship,” per the insider, who tells Us Buffett “has told Craig this.”

“They aren’t fully aligned,” the insider says, adding that their missed connection hasn’t deterred Conover from jumping into the dating pool.

“Craig has been putting himself back out there since his split from Paige. He feels more confident now and excited to date again,” the source reveals. “He would be in a relationship right now if it was the best fit.”

Conover’s love life has been in the headlines recently after DeSorbo, 32, announced in December 2024 that they called it quits after three years of dating. The Summer House alum later clarified that she initially broke up with Conover after Thanksgiving. Later, after an in-person conversation that following December, they were fully broken up.

In the wake of their split, Conover and DeSorbo publicly traded jabs. DeSorbo was accused of cheating on Conover — which she denied — while Conover chose to remain quiet regarding the allegations.

DeSorbo later claimed that she caught Conover texting other women when they were still together, which he denied. Amid all the back and forth, Us exclusively confirmed in March that Conover had begun seeing Buffett.

“Craig and Natalie met years ago and had a fling,” a source exclusively told Us in April, revealing that the hook up ended in 2019, after Conover’s split from former Southern Charm star Naomie Olindo in 2017.

Conover and Buffett, who previously dated Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott, reconnected in February, per the insider.

“They are taking things slow and it’s still pretty new, but Craig is all in,” the insider added, noting that the duo have been spending time in Charleston, where he lives, and New York, where Buffett splits her time. (Buffett is from Texas but is often in NYC and Florida for work.)

Earlier this month, Buffett gave her followers an update on her romantic life and hinted that she and Conover were not serious.

“If you’re new here, you should know that I never have and never will comment on any current or past relationship,” she wrote via her Instagram Stories on Sunday, June 8, after a fan asked, “Are you dating?” during a Q&A.

Buffett explained, “I’m not dating anyone specific and just really enjoying the season I’m in right now with my family and friends and traveling the world. Hope this helps, xoxo.”
