Dakota Johnson is opening up about Taylor Swift’s wedding!
The Verity actress, 36, discussed Swift and Travis Kelce’s nuptials on BBC Radio 1 with host Greg James on Monday, Sept. 28, describing the special day as “so fun.”
“It was so like… everything she’s dreamed of. It just felt so completely her,” Johnson said of the singer.

Swift and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end tied the knot on July 3 at Madison Square Garden in New York City, with a star-studded guest list of around 1,000 people, including A-listers such as Adam Sandler, Bradley Cooper, Camila Cabello, and Gigi Hadid.
When asked by James — who was also a guest and admitted to taking four paper doilies from the venue — whether she thought any pictures from the ceremony would ever be leaked, Johnson replied with a simple, “No.”
Johnson recently starred in the video for Swift’s newly released song “Patient Zero,” which formed part of Swift’s expanded edition of The Life of a Showgirl album.
It debuted at the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday, Sept. 27, featuring Colin Farrell, who starred as Swift’s toxic ex. The video also shows Johnson leaning on Swift for support as she tells the actress about her own relationship’s downfall.

Johnson revealed to James that the music video had been in the works since early 2026, adding that it had been a “long time coming.”
“Taylor and I are really good friends, and we talk a lot about everything, everything on the planet,” Johnson said. “A lot of that is true crime, and she’s a genius person, and if you talk about world-building, I think the inside of her mind is this miraculous, intricate wonderland.”

“And so, she asked if I would do this, and of course, I’ll do anything with her; she’s the most fun,” the Fifty Shades of Grey star said.

Elsewhere, Swift thanked Johnson and Farrell for “trusting me with their time, taste, and talent” in a heartfelt Instagram post on Sunday. “Giggling with your friend because you’re twinning for an entire shoot was a new and truly delightful experience,” she added.
She described Farrell’s performance as “even more impressive when you get to be around him.”
“He’s an absolute light and as kind as they come,” the pop star said. “@caradelevingne, thank you for agreeing to play the lusty other woman. That’s what friends are for?”
