Danielle Bernstein checked in with her followers about how she's feeling several weeks after a recent cosmetic surgery.
Last month, the fashion content creator — who is known by her social media handle, @WeWoreWhat — revealed that she underwent a lower blepharoplasty to address her under-eye area. At the time, Bernstein, 33, explained that she'd long been "bothered" by that part of her face.
On Monday, March 2, she took to her Instagram Stories to share another recovery update in response to a question asking about her healing and if she had any "learnings or takeaways" to impart on her audience. Bernstein began by noting that she is "about a month and a half" post-op.

"I would say it's super subtle and natural," she said of her results. "I'm probably the only one that notices the difference, but if you look at the before and afters, you can see all the puffiness and the hollowness that was taken out from this procedure."
She added, "I just think it was so worth it. I had a 10 out of 10 experience and would highly recommend it if this is an area that bothers you."
Berstein revealed she had the surgery on Feb. 3, when she told her 3.2 million Instagram followers, "This wasn't about changing my face — just finally fixing something that never felt like me." She noted that the procedure also included a "small skin pinch" and "fat pad removal" in addition to the lower blepharoplasty.
Her post also featured before-and-after images and selfies documenting her recovery from the two-hour surgery. She also included photos that demonstrated the bruising and swelling she sustained following the operation.
"The first week was bruised and puffy and very unglamorous. But now? I’m obsessed," she explained in her caption. "It’s subtle, but the tear trough area is so smooth and seamless and I genuinely feel more rested and confident every time I look in the mirror."

Bernstein previously opened up about the changes she made to her appearance in September 2024, when she discussed the details of her nose job that she got as a senior in high school. Similarly, she said her nose was a feature that bothered her for her "entire life."
She said the surgeon changed the shape of her nostrils and shaved down the tip during the rhinoplasty. "That's why it looks so natural, because they didn't really reshape my nose completely," said Bernstein.
