- The Colemans have canceled their 2026 tour amid their son’s health issues
Danny Go! star Daniel Coleman is both a popular entertainer to children across the world, as well as a father to two children of his own.
The children’s show host and his wife, Mindy Coleman, have been together since 2009 and became parents shortly after. They welcomed their first child, son Isaac, in 2011, and later added son Levi to the family in 2015.
Isaac was born with Fanconi anemia, a “rare inherited condition that affects your bone marrow and many other parts of your body,” per Cleveland Clinic. Isaac has since undergone several surgeries and transplants. As a result of the disease, he was diagnosed with mouth cancer that progressed to stage 3 in February 2026.
“All of this is obviously very heavy on Mindy and I, especially around the holidays,” Daniel wrote while announcing the cancer diagnosis in December 2025. “And I’m not sure yet what next year will look like for us. But I am SO grateful that we were able to take an international trip together as a family before it all happened.”
Here’s everything to know about Daniel Coleman’s kids: sons Isaac and Levi.
He shares two sons with his wife, Mindy
Daniel and Mindy, who have been together since 2009, welcomed their first son, Isaac, in 2011. Their second son, Levi, followed in 2015.
Four years later, Daniel and Mindy teamed up to launch Danny Go!, a YouTube “live-action educational children’s show filled with music, movement and silliness,” per the website.
“Mindy is a farmer with a passion for healthy foods,” her website bio reads. “And while her calming demeanor helps balance out Danny’s energy, she’s also got a love for dancing…especially along with rainbow disco unicorns!”
Isaac was diagnosed with Fanconi anemia at birth
When Daniel and Mindy welcomed their first child, son Isaac, in 2011, he was diagnosed with a severe genetic disorder called Fanconi anemia. It is a rare condition that affects a person’s bone marrow and also “causes physical abnormalities that can affect people’s organs and appearances,” per the Cleveland Clinic.
In addition to the everyday challenges that come with the inherited disorder, people with Fanconi anemia also have an “increased risk of developing blood disorders and some kinds of cancer.”
Over the last 14 years of his life, Isaac has undergone several surgeries. In March 2021, he received a kidney transplant at the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. Daniel shared frequent updates with his followers about his son’s health at the time.
“Surgery update: Yesterday was a hard day for Isaac’s pain management, but we all got a little rest last night and things are improving today!” he captioned a photo of Isaac post-surgery. “Kidney numbers already looking better than anything we’ve seen in years.”
When Isaac turned 13 years old in October 2024, Daniel reflected on everything his elder son had gone through and shared an “emotional” message.
“If you had asked us when he was born if he would make it to 13, I think we would have both in our hearts thought probably not,” he recalled. “But he’s still going strong and has had an amazingly peaceful year by his standards. He has faced SO many challenges medically, physically, emotionally…but I am just so so proud of him and how hard he works every day.”
The family has gone on adventures together
Both Isaac and Levi are adventurous children, and Daniel frequently posts pictures and videos of them sledding, rock climbing, traveling across the world, camping and going on boat rides together.
Among other vacations, the family of four traveled to St. Augustine and later the Give Kids The World Village in Kissimmee, Fla. for Isaac’s Make-a-Wish trip. In 2023, they embarked on the special trip for a second time, and “the boys loved it even more this time.”
For Levi’s 7th birthday in September 2022, Daniel and Mindy took him for a solo trip to New York City where he “rather enjoyed getting spoiled by double parents for a couple days.” The three toured the Museum of Ice Cream, the Empire State Building and the American Museum of Natural History.
Meanwhile, Isaac enjoys playing with reptiles, and Daniel posted a picture of him holding a massive lizard in 2023 while writing, “Isaac was in his happy place today. He just has NO fear when it comes to reptiles and bugs.”
In December 2025, Daniel announced that Isaac has cancer
On Dec. 20, 2025, Daniel shared a series of photos of his family and announced that Isaac had been diagnosed with cancer.
“We found out last week that Isaac has cancer in his mouth,” he wrote in the lengthy caption. “TBH, we always knew this day was coming, as it’s a near certainty w/ Fanconi anemia.”
Although they had been preparing for a potential diagnosis, Daniel admitted that it was “definitely hitting a little earlier than we hoped” and it was still “just such a shocking thing to hear about your child, even if you’ve braced for it for years.”
Isaac had a cancer removal surgery on Jan. 7, 2026, and doctors discovered that the “cancer had spread further than the scans indicated.”
“The longer term outlook is unclear, but we’ll be getting back the full biopsy information in a few days,” Daniel explained. “Our surgeon felt less than optimistic that we got it all out just based on how it spread, but we’ll take it a step at a time & focus on getting Isaac healed from this initial surgery first.”
Nearly one month after Isaac’s cancer removal surgery, Daniel shared that he had been diagnosed with stage 3 mouth cancer. The entertainer went on to express his gratitude to the doctors at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and the Fanconi Cancer Foundation, noting that they are trying to give Isaac the best quality of life.
“We just ultimately have to balance it all with the quality-of-life factor for Isaac at this stage, too,” he concluded. “Mindy and I have been consulting with some other Fanconi anemia families to hear from their experiences, which has been so helpful. Thank you again for all the kind words and encouragement towards our son.”
As a result of the health news, Daniel announced that he and his Danny Go! teammates would be canceling their 2026 tour plans.
“Dancing with so many of you in person over the last 18 months has been a true joy & we hope to get another tour rolling when the time is right,” he wrote in a statement on the Danny Go! Instagram page.
