Dayle Haddon, an actress and former supermodel, has died from suspected carbon monoxide poisoning. She was 76.
Solebury Township Police arrived at the Bucks County, Penn., home of her son-in-law, Hallmark star Marc Blucas, at around 6:30 a.m. local time on Friday, Dec. 27, after receiving a 911 call, CBS News reported.
According to a police report, authorities found an unidentified 76-year-old man passed out on the first floor of the home. He was rushed to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, N.J., where he is receiving treatment.
A woman, meanwhile, was discovered dead in a second-floor bedroom. In a statement to USA Today, Eliot Gross, the deputy coroner of Bucks County, confirmed that it was Dayle. He added that a toxicology report is being conducted to determine her official cause of death.
Other family members, who were located in the main house on the property, were not affected by the suspected carbon monoxide leak, ABC 6 reported.

Two medics were transported to a local hospital for carbon monoxide exposure, while one police officer was treated at the scene, authorities said.
Police currently believe that fumes from a boiler may be behind the suspected leak, per ABC 6.
A representative for Blucas did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment on Saturday, Dec. 28.
An investigation remains ongoing, police said.
Dayle signed contracts with four major cosmetic companies — Revlon, Max Factor, Estée Lauder and L’Oréal — during her modeling career, according to her website.
She notably appeared on the cover of the 1973 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue, and starred in movies such as Disney’s The World’s Greatest Athlete and North Dallas Forty alongside Nick Nolte.
Dayle, who has authored two books, Ageless Beauty and The 5 Principles of Ageless Living, has also been featured on the covers of Vogue, Elle and Cosmopolitan over the years.

In an Instagram post on Dec. 27, Dayle’s daughter, Ryan Haddon, remembered her mother with a lengthy tribute. She shared a selection of photos of her mom’s magazine covers, as well as some of the Canadian-born model working as an ambassador for the humanitarian aid organization UNICEF.
“The bright light that is Dayle has dimmed in this Earthly realm. Shining somewhere as radiantly as ever where it’s most needed, I have no doubt,” Ryan began.
“She was a woman in her power, yet soft and attentive to all. Deeply creative and curious, gifted with beauty inside and out. Always kind and thoughtful,” she continued of her famous mother. “In conversation, she could go to the deepest of places and also soar the highest heights of spiritual understanding. She held so many up, saw their greatness sometimes hidden to them, and always built bridges with her own connections to help them ascend. She was everyone’s greatest champion. An inspiration to many.”
“I always trust the timing of things,” Ryan added in her Instagram caption. “There are no accidents and certainly how we enter and exit this world is mystical and unknowable. She was a high-hearted spiritual being that put value on her soul’s evolution, so I know her journey here in this dimension must have been complete.
“I honor her. I bow to her. I revere all the paths and adventures taken. I saw her be golden and always reach for the Light in all areas of her life,” she concluded. “Thank you everyone who was a part of her journey that helped to shape her, enrich her and activate her to become the absolute gem that she is. She loved so many.”
“A pure heart. A rich inner life. Touching so many lives. A life well lived. Rest in Light, Mom,” Ryan signed her heartfelt tribute.
