Demi Lovato and her husband Jordan “Jutes” Lutes know how to have a good laugh while on vacation!
On Monday, June 16, the singer, 32, shared an Instagram reel of herself and Jutes recreating an iconic scene from Keeping Up with the Kardashians. They used the audio from the season 6 episode “Getting to Know You,” where Kim Kardashian freaks out after losing her diamond earring in the ocean.
“My earring’s gone! Oh my God, I’m gonna cry,” Lovato mouths the words while touching her ears in the ocean, reenacting the SKIMS founder’s reaction at the time.
“My diamond earrings,” the Disney alum exclaimed while wearing a cut-out one-piece swimsuit.
“What’s wrong with you, guys?” Jutes, 34, lip syncs, playing the role of Kourtney Kardashian, while he looks down at Lovato in the water.
“My diamond earring came off in the ocean and it’s gone,” Lovato lip syncs, while coming out of the water.
“Kim, there’s people that are dying,” Jutes ends the clip, while looking at Lovato climb the stairs.
“We had to,” Lovato captioned the clip.
Fans couldn’t get enough of the couple’s spot-on impersonations in the comment section.
“Omfg the lip sync in the water is so good 😂😂😂,” one person wrote. Another added, “I love it😂😂😂🔥.” A third commented, “I knew you were going to do it 😂.”
In the KUWTK episode that aired in August 2011, Kardashian was on a family vacation in Bora Bora with her then-boyfriend, Kris Humphries. The now-retired basketball player playfully threw the reality star in the water, and, in a matter of seconds, she realized her earring was missing. The day was later saved by sister Kylie Jenner, who swam to the bottom of the water and found the accessory.
Lovato and Jutes appeared to film the fun Instagram Reel while on their honeymoon. The “Stonecold” singer also shared an Instagram carousel titled “Honeymoon dump.”
Some of the photos featured in the upload showed the couple kissing while having dinner, Lovato in an orange bikini with a matching skirt, the couple jet-skiing in the ocean and Lovato in several more swimsuits.
The newlywed couple tied the knot in a California wedding on May 25. A source told PEOPLE shortly after the ceremony that Lovato is “very healthy both physically and mentally.” They added, “She had several years of struggle. It’s wonderful that it’s all behind her.”
Lovato and Jutes met in 2022 while working on the singer’s studio album, Holy Fvck.
