While fans wait with bated breath to see if Taylor Swift will make a surprise appearance at the 2025 Met Gala, her past looks already have the approval of boyfriend Travis Kelce’s mother, Donna Kelce.
Donna dropped a “like” on a Monday, May 5, Instagram post from fan account @swiftiesforeternity.
“Today is the Met Gala (haven’t heard much discussion about it — I don’t think Taylor is going),” the caption read. “Here’s a throwback to one of my all-time favorite looks!!!”
The social media page included a snap of Swift, now 35, looking gorgeous in a pale pink Oscar de la Renta gown at the 2014 Met Gala. The museum fundraiser at the time was themed “Charles James: Beyond Fashion” in honor of the fashion designer.

The following September, she went to cheer him on during one of the Kansas City Chiefs’ home football games. […]
“Travis wants to take [a breather] from the public eye,” a source exclusively told Us Weekly in April. “He was working too much last year, and he didn’t play as well as he wanted. He wants to have a good season and not have the focus be on his relationship with Taylor.”
In addition to spending time together, Swift and Travis have jetted off on various vacations to the likes of Utah and Montana.
“Just doing nothing at all has been a dream of theirs for a while,” a second source told Us last month. “They’re enjoying some R&R after working their butts off, making the most of their time off. They’re fully living their best lives.”
Swift previously attended the Met Gala six times, last in 2016.
