DWTS’ Lindsay Arnold Says She’s ‘So Happy’ With Breast Augmentation and Lift Results

Lindsay Arnold couldn’t be happier with the results of her breast augmentation and lift.

“I’m on day three post-op, and honestly, feeling really good today,” Arnold, 31, said in a Sunday, January 19, TikTok. “Yesterday was by far the hardest day. Surgery went great. Everything went as expected.”

The Dancing With the Stars alum explained that she gave her surgeon a size range, which she initially thought would be 245cc to 300cc. However, leading up to the surgery, Arnold changed her mind to be in the 265cc to 285cc range — but was “leaning more towards” 265cc.

“He’ll kind of try them on during surgery and see what looks best on your frame, what fills everything out the best,” Arnold noted. “And so I was like, ‘I will leave it up to you. I’m leaning more towards 265[cc].’ He also agreed, but said that he would do what looked best in surgery.”

Arnold noted that she went with the Motiva ergonomic implant. “The Motiva is a brand of silicone implant, and the ergonomic means the kind of, like, firmness of it. I wanted very natural, very like, supple, not super firm,” she explained. “So you could do round or ergo, I think, [are] the different options. So I went with the Motiva Ergo.”

Ultimately, Arnold received a 265cc implant on both sides, which she said she was “so happy” with the size.

“They are definitely swollen, not, like, fully settled at all. Obviously, it’s only been three days, but I can already, like, see the potential,” she said. “And I’m really, really happy that I went with the size that we went with. I think I would have been bummed if they were any bigger.”

Following the surgery, Arnold said she had “a scar around the nipple,” which is called an “anchor scar.” She added, “With the lift, they were moving some of that extra skin, moving the nipple higher on the breast.”

As for her profile, Arnold decided on moderate plus and also chose to have the procedure over her muscle.

“My surgeon does this quite frequently and believes in this technique a lot, because you do not have to cut into your pec muscle, which was very appealing to me,” Arnold said. “I’m someone who’s super active and I didn’t want anything messing with my muscle function. The recovery is a lot easier because you don’t have to wait for a muscle to heal.”

Arnold also received a “GalaFLEX,” which she explained is “an internal mesh bra that they put underneath.”

“After about 18 months, it dissolves and becomes like collagen, but it’s really just to help give support on the bottom, which I love so much,” she said. “So there you have it. That’s all the details about my brush, augmentation and lift. I am so happy with the results so far, and I know it’s just going to keep getting better as they heal and settle in all the things.”

While sharing the results from her surgery, Arnold gushed that her fans were “so supportive” of her decision.

“Even if you don’t, like, agree with it or want to do it for yourself, I appreciate the respect that this is something that I wanted to do for myself,” she said.

After sharing her decision to receive a breast augmentation and lift in a separate TikTok video, Arnold said she initially wanted to undergo the procedure once she and her husband, Sam Cusick, were done having kids.

While she and Cusick are “not done having babies” yet, Arnold noted that the couple were not in a rush to expand their family. (Arnold and Cusick are parents to daughters Sage, 4, and June, 20 months.)

“I just decided I didn’t want to wait,” she said in December 2024. “Obviously, [I] know there are chances I’d maybe need to get a lift later on in life or whatever, but I just don’t want to wait anymore. … We’re just putting [family planning] on pause a bit longer.”
