Elizabeth Chambers shared a rare photo of her ex-husband Armie Hammer with their son Ford, 7, and daughter Harper, 10.
In the photo, posted to Instagram Stories on Tuesday, June 3, the family of four smiles while Chambers, 42, proudly showcases a certificate with their 7-year-old son Ford’s name on it. “Happy 2nd grade step-up, FORDY BOY,” she wrote on top of the image.
Ford’s hands were full with the family’s dog.
For the occasion, Hammer, 38, dressed in a black T-shirt and black pants. Harper rocked a navy and white romper. Ford wore a white button-down with khaki pants. As for Chambers, she matched Harper with a navy and nude loose-fitting dress.
While appearing on Today with Jenna & Friends to discuss her new show Toxic in May, Chambers gave an update on how her family was doing overall.
“They’re amazing. We’re amazing. I think we’ve never been stronger as a family,” Chambers explained. “This show touches on domestic violence, it touches on really unhealthy patterns. For me, I just experienced betrayal.”
“But in that process, I really learned so much about patterns and how parenting, really it comes down to parenting,” she added. “It comes down to humanity and psychology and all of those interesting things.”
She also touched on her experience co-parenting Harper and Ford with her ex-husband. Chambers and Hammer tied the knot in 2010 and announced their split in July 2020. After parting ways, Hammer was accused by multiple women of abuse, which he denied. Their divorce was finalized in June 2023.
“I don’t love that word co-parenting, right? I think we’re just parents and everyone is just parenting as well as they can with what they have,” she explained. “Our family is, again, so strong and better than ever. But for me, divorce in itself is just trauma.”

“Nobody wants to inflict trauma on their children. We bring these little angels into the world,” Chambers added.
Chambers’ documentary series Toxic premiered on ID and Max in May. In the trailer for the six-part series, Chambers interviews a woman about an attack she endured due to a partner.
“When it comes to toxic relationships, no one is immune,” Chambers said in the clip. “Navigating through my own heartbreak took me back to my roots as an investigative journalist.”
