Elle Fanning and Gus Wenner’s 2025 is off to a sweet (and snowy!) start.
The A Complete Unknown actress, 26, rang in the new year with boyfriend Wenner on a fun-filled ski trip that she shared photos and videos from on Wednesday, Jan. 1.
Fanning’s Instagram post included snaps and footage of her and her Rolling Stone CEO beau on the slopes, as well as a couple of shots of them embracing and another of the couple sharing a kiss to mark the end of 2024.
“⛷️ing into 2025,” Fanning captioned the post.

Fanning and Wenner, 34, went public with their relationship in January 2024, when they walked the red carpet together at the 81st Golden Globe Awards.
They were first linked when they were spotted walking hand-in-hand in New York City in November 2023. Photos at the time showed their dinner outing at The Waverly Inn with Lorde, Annabella Dexter Jones and Wenner’s brother Theo.
This past August, The Great actress celebrated Wenner’s birthday with a post on Instagram, writing in the caption, “Happy Birthday angel 🪽❤️🔥🌊.”
In October, Fanning shared a photo on her Instagram Stories getting a kiss on the cheek from Wenner as the two stood in Saint James’s Square in Barcelona, Spain.
Underneath the photo, in pink text, she wrote simply, “Baby.”

Despite clearly having eyes for only one another, Fanning recently admitted she has a crush on another celebrity: Jack Black!
While on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last month, the actress was asked about meeting Black, 55, at the Golden Globes earlier that year, an encounter she excitedly shared selfies of at the time alongside the caption, “Life made!”
“It has made my life,” Fanning told host Jimmy Fallon. “We have a group chat, my sister [Dakota Fanning] and all my girlfriends, and it’s basically dedicated to how hot Jack Black is. He is our perfect man. Like, beyond.”
“We send each other clips of him all the time, specifically the saxophone clip from on the show. It’s iconic,” she added.
Of the Globes selfie moment, Fanning explained, “We were waiting for our cars at the valet at the same time, and my boyfriend was with me, he was like, ‘Go up to him, go up to him,’ and he convinced me to, and I did. Then my boyfriend yelled to him, ‘You’re her hall pass, by the way!’ ”
