Elon Musk’s Daughter Vivian Admits She Doesn’t ‘Actually Know How Many Siblings’ She Has

Elon Musk’s daughter Vivian is sharing her side of the story.

“I will say I do not actually know how many siblings I have if you include half-siblings,” the 20-year-old told Teen Vogue in a profile published on Thursday, March 20. “That’s just a fun fact. It’s really good for two truths and a lie. I found out about the Shivon Zilis thing [at] the same time everyone else did. I had no idea before that.”

News broke in 2022 via court documents obtained by Insider that Musk had recently welcomed twins, Strider and Azure, with NeuroLink executive Zilis. Vivian learned of the twins’ birth through the internet, similar to how she learned Grimes and her dad welcomed daughter Exa via surrogate in 2021.

“I found out about Grimes having a second child because a drag queen posted about it on Reddit,” Vivian recalled. “For a time, me and Grimes were not really in communication because I wasn’t in communication with anyone in that family, which still holds true. Tatianna from RuPaul’s Drag Race season 2 and RuPaul’s Drag Race: All-Stars 2 tweeted, ‘[Not] Grimes popp[in] out another axolotl,’ which made the front-page of the RuPaul’s Drag Race subreddit, which is how I found out about it.”

According to Vivian, her mother — Musk’s ex-wife Justine Wilson Musk — also doesn’t “keep up with that side of the family.”

“She’s divorced, werk. So yeah. I don’t really give a f— what they do,” Vivian quipped. “This is not my problem, OK? I’ve seen [Elon and Grimes’ eldest son] X once when he was very little.”

Vivian also opened up about her estranged dynamic with her father in Thursday’s profile, referring to Musk as a “pathetic man-child.”

“Why would I feel scared of him? ‘Ohhh, he has so much power.’ Nah, nah, nah. I don’t give a f—. Why should I be scared of this man?” Vivian teased. “I don’t give a  f— how much money anyone has. I don’t. I really don’t. He owns Twitter. OK. Congratulations.”

Per Vivian, she hasn’t publicly spoken to Musk since 2020.

“That was almost half a decade ago at this point. Thank God,” Vivian proclaimed to the outlet.

While she isn’t close with all of her half-siblings, Vivan did shed a little bit of light on her relationships with her twin, Griffin, and her 19-year-old triplet siblings, Kai, Saxon and Damian. (Musk and Wilson, 52, also shared son Nevada, who died of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome at 10 weeks.)

“I’m tied for oldest,” she said “But when we fought, it wasn’t really with words. There was a lot of … I have four siblings. We’re going to leave it at that, honey.”

After Musk and Wilson divorced in 2008, he expanded his family further. The Tesla founder also shares three children with 37-year-old Grimes, four children with Zilis and one child with Ashley St. Clair.
