Brandi Cyrus has some serious FOMO when it comes to Saturday Night Live’s 50th anniversary special.
The actress and DJ unloaded her thoughts on SNL 50 on the Wednesday, February 19, episode of her “Your Favorite Thing” podcast, which she cohosts with Wells Adams, and she revealed the one question about the festivities that she still wants to ask her sister Miley Cyrus.
Miley performed at SNL 50 in front of the many celebrity guests — including Miley’s ex-boyfriend Nick Jonas.
“Part of me wants to be like, I know Nick Jonas was there, did you talk to Nick?” she said. “She probably didn’t.”

While Brandi, 37, said there’s no bad blood between Miley and Jonas, both 32, “they just dated when they were children, which is hilarious.”
Miley and Jonas dated from June 2006 to December 2007 with Miley later referring to him as her “first love.” They briefly reconciled in 2009 but have since gone their separate ways.
Miley was married to Liam Hemsworth from 2018 to 2020 and is now dating drummer Maxx Morando. The two were first linked in late 2021 and have been living together since last February.
Jonas married Priyanka Chopra in 2018, and they welcomed their first child, a daughter, in 2022, whom they had via surrogate.
Though they’re no longer together, Jonas has long been complimentary about Miley’s music career. Jonas called her “a real singer” in a 2019 interview on Apple Music’s “Beats 1 Chart” radio show, adding that the Jonas Brothers’ song Before the Storm, which they recorded with Miley is “my favorite catalogue song of the Jonas Brothers.”
We don’t know if Miley and Jonas reunited at SNL 50, but fans did get to see some current celebrity couples together, including Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds. Brandi and Adams loved the segment where Reynolds indirectly referenced the ongoing lawsuit between his wife and Justin Baldoni during a faux Q&A with former Weekend Update anchors Tina Fey and Amy Poehler.
“Blake, I don’t know if she was acting or not, but she looked terrified,” Brandi said.
During the segment, Fey and Poehler called on Reynolds, 48, and asked him how he was doing.
“[I’m doing] great. Why, what have you heard?” he said
Adams, for his part, had an idea for how they could have punched up the sketch by “doubling down” on the controversy and referencing the allegation that Lively tried to assert her own creative control of It Ends With Us over Baldoni, who directed the film.
“You know what would have been really funny is if Blake jumped up in the middle of that and was like ‘wait wait wait guys, guys, guys, can I rewrite this scene? Because this is not funny,’” he suggested.
